Thank you very much for introducing the new additions! I liked the subject of grouping automations into groups according to filters. The question is, is it still necessary to split the automations.yaml file into secondary files that will be attached through the automations folder and also through !include in the configuration file?

I thought Sections was an exciting release. Organisation might just be even better. Nice to see Sections getting a new update so quickly.

Can you please help me? I am trying to get into garden lighting with HA. I just wonder what is the best protocol to start with : thread or zigbee 3.0 based ? Thank you for your guidance !

is there a way to create an entity view populated by entities with a specific label?

7:21 I noticed you called them "Breaking Changes". But HA recently changed the terminology to "Backwards Incompatible Changes".... do you have any idea why HA team changed to this new terminology?

Tnx! Great features but I still miss permission / entity. You want all in the family to use HA but not to be able to change everything. It took my boys about a second to realize that they could use this to start ww3. To turn off little brother's lights at bedtime is fun as he is afraid of the dark and he gets his revenge by turning down the heat in big brother's room to a few degrees above absolute zero. If there was permissions on every enity where every user is granted access by default and you can, as admin, revoke users access to that entity, this world would be a more peaceful place.

You can use this at the moment: The Ultimate Guide to Personalized Dashboards in Home Assistant ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VvJdcY83hKE.html

@@SmartHomeJunkiekind of could but it's not exactly what I wanted. This has to be built into a specific dash. I wanted the permissions to be on entity level so it works on all kinds of dashboards and out of the box. I use Dwain's dash to avoid having to maintain different dashes for different screen sizes. Not sure I would like to hide entities, just revoke change privileges. Maybe two checkboxes for each user, both change and view.

Hi Ed, I ran into an issue when using a label to turn off multiple devices (max 12), all Hue. I created a label “ Slapen”. With appr 15 devices to be turned off, all Hue. Using a label, only 2 or 3 lights are turned off. The others are skipped. Did you ran into this same issue also??

When you want to turn off multiple lights using HA, the best way is to group them in a Zigbee group (not a HA Group) and turn off that group.

@@SmartHomeJunkie the strange thing it always works fine when listing all devices in the service light off command. But when using a label for the same it does not work. Seems to me something is weird in HA’s processing of labels….

I believe this is helpful for people hosting HA with containers where you probably have other services running with their own page to manage stuff up
