Having lived in the area for a while and naturally visiting more times than I care to even try to count, that new road is a godsend when it comes to seasonal traffic! Learning the shortcuts and roads less traveled when visiting is a must in my opinion. It'll save some time and take a little off that breakdown you'll surely encounter due to the traffic 😂 Thanks so much for the great update Ryan! 💙🙏🏼
We planned kind of a spur of the moment trip when the kids were out of school, the week of 3/25. OH MY, the traffic in that area!...and the crowds. There was a state-wide FFA convention in G'burg we didn't know about to top it all off. Due to the crowds, we passed on Anakeesta & Dollywood, but still had a great time. Already thinking of a more "strategic" time to go back when we don't spend half our time there in traffic and in lines.
Thanks for the tour & update. 408 is taking time because Mike Cross is working with the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians. Tdot has a 10 year plan for more roads, but wish they’d hurry it up. 😊
That new road going to Dollywood is quietly the biggest addition to the park this year. Such a time a saving on those busy days and something that prob should have been done a decade ago

You need to check out the Array Variety Show in Pigeon Forge. It is the newest upcoming, and honestly, best show on the Parkway. They also have a pretty killer magic show as well.
The Tulips were gorgeous at Old Mill. Thank you for including those beautiful pictures. This was a nice informative tour. I ask Ginger this weekend if she knew just where the Target was going to be. Great video. That is great that there will be a Target. My co-worker told me about the new road. I had wondered where that road led between the gas station and Burger King. Glad I actually got to see it on your drive. What happened to Chicken Guy? We ate there once. We eat at the Disney Springs location we are at Disney.

Fun video! We had fun last year at Skyland ranch, I got to sing a few tunes with the talented artist, a sweet woman joined us. Above the crazy Mason is an arcade with Huge pizza Slices we love! I want to hit Carmelkorn, and have those Aldeen’s Nachos! Great job, Ryan!
Ate at the old mill restaurant it was super, super busy but they did push then in and out 20 to 40 minute Waite. The people were very kind and considerate. I got the southern fried chicken breast. It came with hush puppies, mashed potatoes and green beans. My chicken was so dried out I could only eat one piece. The breading dry and hard. I was very disappointed. I asked for maybe some gravy but they are not liking to change the norm. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant boxed potatoes. The green beans were ok but that chicken I was expecting southern fried moist but it was bad. She did take off 10.00 . Good luck.
I saw the total eclipse in Oregon 7 years ago. HIGHLY RECOMMEND you drive into the totality zone as this one will be a long one close to 5 minutes. Outlining areas not in this zone is really disappointing. It was one of the strangest experiences of my life, I will never forget it.....just surreal.

a rainbow trout video would be amazing. We go to pigeon forge every year for vacation, and i havent trout fished there since a child. I actually saw you there in November at dolly wood, didnt want to bother you. Always great videos!
If we are staying at the valley forge inn in pigeon forge and going to Dollywood on Friday November 1st and Saturday November 2nd for the Christmas festival and are going to be using the preferred parking would it be easier to use the new road or the old one? We are excited to go to Dollywood for the first time and I'm hoping to meet you guys and some other utubers we enjoy watching on opening day of the Christmas festival. My son is excited for the nerf experience to open. I herd that it is supposed to open in the summer or fall of this year. I'm hoping that Skyland Ranch will do some kind of dinner show on Halloween. My husband and I loved Skyland Ranch when we visited in February. We want to take our son. I appreciate them doing dinner shows to add to the dinner show options. Your videos are very helpful.

It's down the road from the space needle, next to the Log Cabin Pancake House. They have an existing store at the Island in Pigeon Forge. I forgot to drive over to it, so will show it on a future video...thanks!
