suggestion--make quilting pantographs. i still don't understand why domestic embroidery/sewing machine companies have not realized they can open up a part of quilting that causes a pause.
Think about how many times you'd have to reboot if you were doing a panto.. It would be like endless embroidery on steroids! I am a longarm quilter and, when doing a panto, can cover up to 22" in depth and 120 " in length. Even with that much space I think it's much easier to do an overall design than a panto that needs to be relocated every time I roll the quilt.
Most companies teach you for free but their classes are not free, so after you pay 10 grand or so , give or take for the machine, you have to buy the classes - I hate that part
Ok I have to make a choose. The brother Dream machine or the Baby Lock Destiny ll. Which one, I can get a real sweet deal on the Destiny or wait about 6 months and get the Dream machine. Help!!!
That's so exciting! You should definitely go with the Baby Lock Destiny II :) You'll also get great support through your retailer and our online Sew at Home classes; we have lots of classes for the Destiny and have more coming for the Destiny II! :)

The Brother Dream Machine II is even better than the Pfaff...it has a built-in camera above needle that scans designs directly into the machine for digitizing and aids in absolute perfect placement of designs and stitches. I think it will be my next machine!
