I'm still on Toon Boom Studio 6.0 but I sub to and watch your videos in the hopes that one day I'll actually have enough time to actually learn how to animate and justify the upgrade. Keep doing what you do, you're awesome!
You might want to consider instead upgrading to Harmony Essentials! It's a similar toolset to Studio (I still use the Studio shortcuts to this day) but with the Harmony interface so it's less overwhelming to learn. Then once you're comfy upgrading to Advanced or Premium will feel more like a luxury rather than a hassle.
I struggled to find any decent tutorials on Harmony and stumbled across your channel. So far you've been more informative and far easier to listen to than any of the ones that I would've had to pay for otherwise.
great video. Thanks for the update. The weight curves stuff does look pretty amazing. I have always wanted to drive the position of a curve on a deformer using a peg (move an arm and the body deforms to react to it). Very cool
I wanted to get this new version of Toon Boom, but I'm not sure. Is it better than Adobe Animate 2022? I need something to make cartoons and animated sprites for video games. Would Toon Boom Harmony Essentials be good enough for all of this?
i'm having an issue. while drawing, somehow the black line becomes blue with 2 yellow dots on both side. and unable to reverse back. How to SOLVE this?

I wonder when Toon Boom will announce the Release Date/Note in 2023: the version of Harmony (v23 or more ~) Premium… 😶🌫It would be ironic if they decided to make a version on Devices Mobile like the Procreate Application, Et Cætera. or import it on the Virtual Reality Headset. Then! That would be revolutionary progress that I wouldn't expect from them.
Having the standard of the industry status, they set these abusive and prohibitive prices, which is detrimental to the poors who cannot buy powerful software like Harmony, in addition to the fact that the single payment price is much more expensive than the subscription, disastrous.
