I have been a 12 year user of Family Tree Maker and Ancestry. I have been having trouble using Family Search from their site. This presentation gives me hope that with some more presentations Family Search may help me find more answers to my brick walls. Informative session. Thankyou! #chooseconnection

Enjoyed learning about this new feature very much. I do wish you would record your videos using your full screen instead of recording them with your face in the window. We would be able to see your computer screen more clearly and larger and the distraction of your movements would be eliminated. Thank you for listening.

This was a great lecture. However, I was not able to see new discovery pages. Questions: Do I need to sign up for a new account even if I have an account already to see new feature? Is this feature only accessible from google or will my people in family search tree look like this? Thank you for clarifying. Carol

Why can't I find my ancestors on ancestors.familysearch.org? Never mind, I read the blog and got it figured out. Thanks this is great.

What happens if I make something private while I'm alive, and don't care if it's public after I'm gone. How is that accomplished?

Unable to locate ancestor discovery page when following your directions. When I use the link on the blog page, I do not find ancestors listed. Am I confused?

I tried to put my ancestor's name on google with his dates to get his new person page and it didn't work for me. Do I have to design that page on Family Search some how first? I really enjoyed this presentation but would like some help with this! Thank you! Brian

This is great My parents showed up. My father in law does not nor several other family members. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong. I google ancestors.familysearch.org Ancestors Name Birthyear-Deathyear I am only trying those who are marked as deceased on FamilySearch and the name is exactly the same. Any ideas?
