You know what’s wild? Guys like Villo, JS7 RD5 who just hang out and drink beer would still go blow the doors off of everyone in the country except for like maybe 20 or 30 riders lol

Love Ryan. His insight at parenthood is as great as his championships. Thats why he won. He knew how to bend! Still does. Great guy. I was bumbed when he retired because im another redhead ryan, 45 but still a dad and love hitting jumps on a dirtbike. Fine line balance in life.

I think it's great to have the past champions involved in the sport. Most are caught up in the job of winning and fitting the factory mold! Once the pressure is off to win championships a majority of our sports stars are pretty decent people and fun to be around.

I have the highest respect for Ryan Villopoto

Been a long time RV fan before it was cool back in 2008-2014 when everybody just said he was a dick but I understood he was focused but also I understood that RV was and still is uncommon amongst uncommon men. He was the baddest dude on the planet and everybody knew when they seen them role the #2 bike out the kawi rig they were racing for second. Only rider beside McGrath to go 4 in a row, won mxdn both motors on a 250f, insane outdoor seasons on a 250, two dominant 450 outdoor titles. The list goes on he’s an all time great one of the best to ever do it.

My favorite rider when I was a kid. People forget how dominate he was years ago. Love to see him on Yamaha now and riding all the different bikes

Wel said RV2 about your kids. I did that with my son, But I'm not close to being the Champion you are. But he enjoys riding when he can now at 21. I was lucky enough to ride and learn from Mike Ulrich from his moto racing years. he was fast and I learned from him to ride tracks safely by knowing what I am doing from him. I was into racing bicycles and my son rocks on bicycle. It's great to see RV2 staying in the sport. It helps future moto racers, Watching and listening to what you and the other hero's talk about and even still ride. I like listening to Swampmoto Live and then the next Sunday go ride after church. It's like watching the movie "On Any Sunday" gets you pumped up to ride like.

RV has been my fav rider since I saw him on armatures and was like holy shit. He is truly one of the greats. cool laid back guy now I'm glad he's happy.

Well just from my point of view you were exactly right about Deegs on the Birmingham start! I was there live, right in front of the first turn and Hammaker once again doesnt understand its his responsibility to hit the brakes when someone on the outside has you beat! And thats the second time hes taken out riders for staying in the gas for to long! There are no fans the straddle the fence on Deegs... You either love him or hate him at this point in his Career. But he still had more fans for any other single rider! Its sad though that there are so many haters for such a young , talented kid trying to figure out where to us that aggression. Same has jet had to... Deegs is nearly 3 years younger too.

Chad, Ricky, stew, dung, villopoto, hell even Josh grant, Hansen, Mike brown, hot sauce, millsaps, Hughes, McGrath, all of them. Only requirement is that you must be a retired pro. I’m definitely a much bigger fan of RV2 right now than when he was racing but not because of his attitude or personality but because he’s #BLUCRUBABY!! Same for ET3.. have had only Yammy’s my whole life.. first dirt bike was a 1975 mx80. But RV is definitely one of the greats and his 4 supercross titles were most impressive especially against the competition he had to defeat.. definite machine and may be baddest dude to ever throw his leg over a dirt bike!

I wish they would bring back those 125 races to the nationals!

Let your kids play baseball it shows him how to be part of the team and it builds great character. He can play baseball and race plus plain baseball helps with concentration
