What's Next for RWBY? 

Someone once said that "RoosterTeeth can't live without RWBY. But RWBY can live without RoosterTeeth".

Ruby being picked up by Dillon sounds real good. But I do think it will be a (very) long shot.

The amount of support of both fans and voice actors of the show that aprove of Dillon picking it up is amazing, and I truly hope he does.

Even if Dillon does get the rights to RWBY, I'm kind of scared that they might biting more than they can chew. Animation costs money and I don't think Dillon's studio is swimming in it at the moment.

We need RWBY to stay, we believe in them so they can defeat Salem once and for all. They made us joy, laughter, smile and others.

Let’s just hope Dillon Goo, Shaft or any competent anime studio will restore RWBY as well as Gen:Lock and Red vs Blue to the glories they once knew. Because Rooster Teeth’s handling of the show after Monty’s death caused RWBY to slip in quality, lose its fans and fall from grace. If Rooster Teeth didn’t shut down, then RWBY will only get worse and worse right until the series finale.

Once sold, the original people don't come with the rights to the show. They can't sue or force themselves for the show since they no longer own it. Don't let that man join Dillon no matter what. The show needs a remake.

I came up with the idea for this earlier, only to check the date on my last video and noticed it was exactly four years ago today that my RWBY video dropped. Would have made this a bit longer but I wanted to get it out today. I feel like I hit all the key points, but if I missed anything, let me know.

Animators like Cake Station (maybe Mirabuea Studio) and Mark as support, the artist and fans such as Switchback Channel, and the men who started the rewrite like Celtic Phenix on the front line.

If/when someone picks up and HOPEFULLY reboots RWBY, I hope they follow the advice of Tite Kubo. Stay off of social media while making your project. The biggest nail in RWBY's coffin was that it went from taking audience criticism to taking Fandom Dictatorship. Creators shouldn't be held hostage by what the audience wants.

Oh, so i know who i have to "thank" for that one guy in r/rwby who said "cmon, rt. make rwby go out in a blaze of glory and make volume 10 a movie trilogy" (yes, someone actually wrote that and no, i don't know what drugs they took to think that's even possible)

Rwby needs a reboot with good writing and well written and likable characters

RWBY is in an Undetermined State as of now but I really don't want the IP to rot and die though some people in the Toxic Fandom want the Series to stay dead and never Continue. I think that a RWBY Series Finale Movie should be the most logical choice to end the Series.

Im hoping beyond all hope that dillongoo gets it because hes the only one i see that has the tools and the talent that can bring back the old fans and rwby doesnt live long without those people. Whatever the case though we need it back on youtube

i'm going to agree with vexxed viewer when he said that rwby is not a profitable IP. like, i could see shaft MAYBE buy the IP for merch right and because they made ice queendom but i can't see any studio or company in the western hemisphere that would buy RWBY.

Thank you @FullTimeNaozari, I share you sentiments. This show, characters, franchise and Monty deserve better then it being left in the hands of cultural vandals who's only goal is DEI. If the Minus one VFX team can do it and go home with gold, so can Dillon.

How much experience does Dillon have writing? I know the animations took a big hit after Monty passed, but I think the writing needs the most help right now.

Honestly I do hope RWBY gets saved by Dillon or another company.

If crunchy roll gets full control it will probably be rebooted into a full anime, If that happens i hope it's made by either JC Staff or Seven Arcs.

At this point i think just finish with volume 10 and then reboot it down the road is the best course of action, it maybe ugly, but at least it will have its end.

One idea I could see happen is if the two animators came back and instead of a full reboot, proceeded to finish the show with season 10 written by them or someone they trust. The thought that comes in mind is an all out battle in vacuo with RWBY and co vs Salem and her forces. With those two animators (and some others if needbe) at the helm, that would be one hell of a climax.

Rebooting the series without finishing rhe current story, in ANY form,is by far the worst decision that could happen. I do think the show needs a reboot, but not until the current story has concluded.

Since industry is not generally run by artists, i don't have too high of hopes for RWBY's future. One thing i've always been curious about though, is how much did Monty's assistants know about how the story was meant to carry on - and more specifically - how it was supposed to end. Is there any chance at all that someone could pick up the series and end it in anything like the way Monty intended?

To be honest I've always said the interest of buying the rights of RWBY actually own my own small Indy company for animation and video games and I wouldn't mind working with those guys you mentioned but I don't have the budget to actually buy it play some how came up with the scrap a cash needed to be clear the first thing I would do is reboot the series rewriting it into a novel and manga series in English in Japanese coming out with audiobooks and then going into smaller level games to eventually Triple-A level games and depending on how well the video games go I will then start the animation using Japanese animators and probably make it 2D animation cuz 3D will be used for the video games itself so no big worries there where is there get to have that original aesthetic from the games that's exactly what I would do interest me I would take it to a whole better level than what those guys did definitely better writing better care development more focus on Team RWBY a refocus onion her mother like that scene between Yang and Raven meeting that was supposed to happen to think of volume three or volume two I forget which I actually would have had done that remitting now to talk about her mother attacking team Juniper sorry voice text so I know I spelled that wrong but I would have Raven attack Team RWBY because it would make more sense at least I can make it more sense that way you'll probably get 25 that would be 21 minutes to 25 length of time because of the way I like to do things it's something I actually have experience in a with animation in game development but I have no idea how much they're selling it for and I highly doubt I would have the money for it I would actually do so just know if I ever did succeed it would be a slow burn because I would slowly bring out content in order to rebuild the series and the fandom

And when you say view volumes of Ruby are you into King from volume 1 to 3 or volume 1 to 4 because I'm kind of confused when you say a few because I know it's more than one

I'm not familiar with copyright laws and ip's and stuff, but I wonder how easy it will be to handle the sale of RWBY considering the Justice League crossover. Does that basically ball and chain RWBY to WB, because they now have a tie-in with DC?

Well if we want Dylan to pick up the rights for RWBY then we must support him until that dream comes to reality either fundraise or donate some money so he can be the highest better if there's anyone out there that I can hear this please help Dylan to require the rights for RWBY please

I don't care if it's going to reboot as long as it doesn't affect the whole entire franchise from volume 3 I mean either it continues from volume nine or reboots itself but I don't think we really need to reboot because it would be a pain to rewrite all of that especially what will happen right after volume 3 if it had to reboot yeah I would actually try to death if that happens

I'm going to say this, but Goo man better have the capital for Rwby cause it's going to be an all-out betting war for the IP since this was big in Japan I'm guessing they will fight tooth and nail for the rights for it.

I want a reboot with good writers. I have made no secret of my disdain for the abysmal writing of the series and the woke horsecrap it tries to pull. It needs writers that won't pander to the right or left. It also needs writers that know how to write consistent characters that are not just cardboard cutout archetypes. I would also like the focus to be on the character writing and not the obsession with shipping and for GOODNESS SAKE WRITE ADAM BETTER! Also writers that know how to write morally grey characters because when CRWBY tried to do that....hoo, boy did it fall flat. And finally, writers that are willing to point out the characters flaws and not make every decision that make acceptable because they are the "good guys." Some folks say Volume 9 did that, it did no such thing it just meandered on the whole "its ok to fail" instead "hey, you acting like a hypocrite and thinking any decision you make is the right one is a BAD THING!" Let's hope that what is whats in store.

No one can special right after hearing the news to be honest I did the attack on Titan salute for Rooster Teeth because if it wasn't for them I would have gone to the creativity I have today because I'm still writing my story and I don't know what I'll do right after volume 3 because my story is someone in the volume 2 time period while volume 3 will be the fall of Beacon with my OC characters along with some of the military from the UN if you don't know what I'm talking about my book is called RWBY X the animatrix OC dawn of the machine war as a description and it cover some of the lore in the future chapters and I'm playing a game some of the volumes the button to my eye I'll look good in their own ways set the volume nine I don't even know where that went the later in the future I would turn it where the team of RWBY and My OC character who is named Adrian who is a Godzilla gets teleported to Earth yes the Earth where the bloodiest war known as the machine war that is still rating on and they know one of the leaders of the evil side here including the machines leader deus ex machina so they can kill 2 Leaders with one stone but one of the leaders is one of the only Emperors of King Ghidorah Kaizer Ghidorah and he will have bigger wings and much more longer Tails than his final wars incarnation and where Ruby would have to say trauma but with other things besides blowing it off on her team I'll probably be have the same conversation but with Adrian finding her and telling her she has to be strong for this because if they are able to succeed this mission turn the non-ending war could finally end and they eventually defeated the two leaders I don't know how but they defeat them same way they did with the cat and they finally teleported back to Remnant to finally finish Salem who predicted this will happen because just just like our famous ice tying from the new Godzilla movie Salem is basically a slave not to V and I'm referring to the evil Titans from Godzilla but you one of the only Devils that appeared in Godzilla and that would be the final enemy for my franchise and I'm talking about the one and only devil to Godzilla Destroyha yes because he's the only powerful Titan that could actually kill a Godzilla and he nearly wiped out half of the Godzilla species in this crossover and what led to the other Titans go into hiding and he uses Salem to make more Grimm do terrorize the civilizations of remnant so yes he would be the perfect final villain of my story after this I might make some sequels not on the main characters but the future generations of huntsman and huntresses where Adrian and Ruby would have a whole family it'll be obvious that the both of them fell in love my first story book but unlike him he has more Godzilla features like the same skin color of a Godzilla same dorsal plates long tailed whitish hair find like his children that Ruby and Adrian had doobie look more human with human skin except for the scales that goes from their feet to their thighs and to their hands from their forearms but they will still have the tail the spikes and the ears including they're Godzilla eyes but we'll focus on either a female child of Adrian or Ruby or a male child depending on which one I pick after that they will face newer enemies that would lead one of the only villains that Godzilla hasn't Don Toe to Toe and that would be Bagan yeah he is a little weaker then Destroyha are you still a formidable opponent to be a formidable opponent to be reckoned with SpaceGodzilla and Biollante or not the enemies apparently I decide to put them as siblings with Adrian's father offspring of Godzilla's G cells including Biollante so yeah you can say they're basically siblings for space Godzilla he'll be like Qrow but not too drunk but he's experienced on the battlefield and like some mess around with his nephews and niece yeah Adrian has one brother and one sister and Biollante would be the nice kind generous aunt that tells them about their father and clean to her Grand nieces and Grand nephews and clean the other characters had children of Their Own I just don't know what to call this series yet but I'll be called as project RWBY X Godzilla for now and I highly suggest reading my book because I'm kind of following along with the RWBY series but when you said a reboot yeah I might have some problems I mean I don't give a crap about volume nine but still I wish I could have been something more creative like focusing on team RWBY and Ren and Nora an Oscar back in remnant and now with the information that the creator of the remaining volumes except for volume 3 can I screw this up yeah I'm kind of shocked to hear this Minot crazy shock of hearing Rooster Teeth shutting down I mean I'm kind of getting used to it just saying my final goodbyes except for RWBY hell no I'm just trying to find the perfect time to say my final goodbyes to it

It's their only hope it's either go big organelle extinct and I will stand alongside them I might have missed my shot with Attack on Titan but this is my only show that I see and showed me a world where anything was possible and when I'm am a creator I will make a crossover with this show and what's the biggest monster of all time Godzilla I'm not saying now but I'm saying in my future and when I'm a animator and properly a director for animations this would be my top goal because I want everyone to see what Godzilla is truly like I want everyone to see what his personality is really is because it's just a mixture of anti-hero villainous grief Vengeance and destruction and all of that is just depression he's a depressed monster and one of those emotion in depression is anger so he puts the blame on Japan instead of America so with our WBY I want to show everyone what Godzilla really feels as long as the other Titans and I even made a book about this crossover including the short prequel episode of The Matrix series the second Renaissance because a is the only episode where war and bloody Warfare is really at its peak and to I kind of didn't like houses with shorts in the second part of the episode and because I love Godzilla and RWBY so if the show continues on in my lifetime I'll be thankful and maybe when I'm a future director I will make a crossover event with this franchise with Godzilla and because maybe in the future because a lot of crossovers have been debating with Toho and plus maybe a Pacific Rim and Godzilla collapse about to begin after this year or something so yeah it's not that crazy and with your episode now I feel high positivity that the show will continue on with its rifle coworker from the original volumes because basically it's just going back to one of the original creators it's just depends where he'll take the show and if he was part of volume three then he has an expertise of making the battle between Remnant and Salem's Army

I've been in a weird place with RWBY since they destroyed my favourite character (Adam) and killed him off to bring about a fan ship. Turning him from a character with more potential than the main cast to someone with no redeeming qualities. The show hadn't felt the same for me since. But I've kept watching nonetheless since I loved the world and there were a few other characters which I continued to love. I tried to interact with the fanbase but only got backlash for my thoughts so I closed myself off from them. I've been watching and following rooster teeth for well over 10 Years of my life. Its a shame to see it go but I would be lying if I said I wasn't curious to see the future of the IP's I've known and loved. Taken by new hands to mold the story without trying to make certain fans happy.

If there is something I learned from clone wars, is that any show left unfinished for so long, can be picked up years later for a series finale or two final seasons.

It's pretty bittersweet for RWBY for me. I never finished Volume 9 because it didn't feel like the same show. I still believe that Volume 4 was the closest to what Monty invisioned going forward.
