As someone who is about to celebrate there third year of painting 40K I am fully on board of seeing more space king it just takes all the sorta jokes of the 40K community and puts it into something great and I love it I would love to have some figures from the show in my cabinet next to my work so I wish you lads the absolute best for space king

I'm the one who originally linked it to /r/grimdank when it dropped. I was a bit apprehensive at first, and there were a few dissenting voices who (rightfully) complained that it doesn't belong there. But as time went by, it became popular. Can't read a thread without running in to the odd "PRAISE THE SPACE KING" :) It has SO many 40k references that only lore geeks have a chance in warp to notice them all. So I feel it will always be a parody at heart, it just has too much 40k DNA to be completely it's own thing.

It'll most likely stay a 40k parody but incorporate elements from other space marine themed games like a bit of Halo, a touch of Doom, a sprinkling of Gears of War with just a dash of Starcraft.
