@@myselfandeye3884he was the dynasty, he went to the finals 8 years in a row on multiple different teams. there are teams we consider dynasties who have gone to the finals less times than he did in a single stretch
@@gormin555 He went to 8 straight finals through the weak east just to lose 5 of them. He even built a superteam in Miami and even with that team he lost to a sick Dirk and an aging Spurs. And after that he jumped ship to go back to the Cavs to team up with Kyrie. The man never had a dynasty.
Whose Jordans iconic finals win over? The jazz? Sonics who don't exist? Charles Barkley? LeBron has done just fine. You can't blame him for playing who was in front of him anymore than Jordan.
@@tearsoverbeersssss So who has LeBron beaten in the finals? Rookie KD, old Duncan, a choking Steph and triple single Green? LeBron has done Jack Sjit. At least Jordan beat the teams who were in front of him in the finals. That's why he had a dynasty that lasted a decade. Even took a break from that dynasty came back and continued his dynasty. LeBron had 10 shots and only won 4 and you act like 40% winning pct is great.
@@myselfandeye3884did you have the same smoke for giannis getting his brother who gets 0.9 points a game a roster spot? I bet you never said anything.
@myselfandeye3884 🤣🤣🤣 It was not for that reason, that money's not going to the Lakers anyway, but to another player. Bronny was drafted to keep LeBron James, as that is what brings money to the Lakers (and a lot of money) and not his paycut.
If we don't land a center, a TRUE BONAFIDE center not a 4/5, but an 5 who rebounds and protects the basket, either via LBJ's paycut or some other way, we will NOT win a championship. #LN4LIFE💜💛✊🏾
If I'm Pelinca I call Utah Jazz and ask for what it take to get Colin Sexton and Walker Kessler in a trade...And try to sign Klay Thompson. That is all we need
The ball is in Rob Pelinka's court, this off-season could be his last if he manages to screw this up! Gonna stay positive tho and hope we make the right moves
@@cheetahturner4576how do stats lie when it’s your literal performance on the basketball floor😭😭 also LeBron is going into his 22nd season lmao Curry is 36 so it would make sense for teams to go after the younger star… doesn’t make him better

No on Klay. Lakers have enough guards. They need a big that can play at least 20 Quality minutes every night. James and Davis are going to Paris this Summer. I expect both to miss a ton of games. D. Russell, 5 stops in nine years. Great shooter. Bad teammate? Still trying to figure out how Knecht is the steal of the draft. He was the 8th guard taken.
I wouldn't be surprised if Reddish, Wood, Hayes, Lewis, JHS and Gabe were gone by the start of the season. I'm actually expecting it honestly. Remember also that D-lo has a mighty attractive contract for trading. I would rather have D-lo stay to be honest because if Bron accepts a lesser role and with Coach Reddick at the lead, D-lo could take his game to the next level! Klay Thompson, meh I'm not sold unless we could get him for the MLE. HE would be a great replacement for T.P for sure though. I still think we need defenders more than offensive firepower at this point
Lakers needs to call utah man, jhs, dlo and 1st round and we get Sexton and kessler Also, is Hartenstein a real option for a S&T move? Wendell carter is another player that can help us a lot
No on Klay - we need younger quicker more energetic players, not old slow ones. He'd be a pretty good designated shooter/scorer off the bench, but that's it.
(A) Trade Russell, Reaves, Vincent, and Hayes to CHI for: LaVine, two protected first round picks and a second round pick: Russell - 18.5 Reaves - 13 Vincent - 11 Hayes - 2̲.̲5̲ 45 million for LaVine's 43 Good for CHI because they get to rid themselves of LaVine and his horrendous contract, receive salary cap relief, a tremendous value contract in Reaves, and a large expiring to make more deals. Bad for CHI because they must attach multiple picks to both jettison LaVine and receive Reaves in return. Good for LAL because they receive a dynamic, athletic, pure-shooting guard with potential to become their closer and some picks to go with him. Bad for LAL because it costs them Reaves and taking on LaVine's contract with it's size and his injury history is a tremendous risk. (B) Trade Hachimura to GSW for sign and traded Klay Thompson (three years, 15 million per). (C) Resign James and Christie. (D) Sign Kyle Anderson to a portion of the MLE (three years, 7 million per). (E) Sign Biyombo and Dwight Howard to veteran minimums (or any other similar physical, defensive centers). (F) Leave remaining MLE (6 million) open for in-season upgrade possibilities. 1. If I’m the Lakers I’d be calling Utah to offer up Hayes,JHS, Lewis and a 2029 first for Walker Kessler. Then taking Wood,Reddish and two seconds and dumping them for another Center on a cheap contract (maybe Drummond from the Bulls) I’m not sure on his contract status though
@@loganmason6254drummond would be the backup. honestly not a bad idea. Ad would play most minutes at the 4, slide him over to the 5 for about 10-15mins a game. Keeps the load down on kessler. While allowing them to still play lebron at the 4 where he fits best defensively. Then having drummond as a option come playoffs would be a big dub against players like jokic
LBJ bailing out Jeanie & FO per usual? Wouldn’t it be nice for LAL to be properly ran for once ? Teams executing trades left & right while Lakers having to do salary dumps… 🤷
Klay is not the piece we need in order to become a true contender. We must have an athletic 3&D a true physical big center. My personal favorite is KCP/J Grant and Hartenstein.
I like kcp. Doubt the nuggets would do a s&t with lakers. Only conundrum is with murray being traded now. What pg do we get after we trade Dlo and possibly even gabe.
Using all grades between A+ through C- without repeating. Rate these trade targets. Trae Young $43,031,940 Zach Lavine $43,031,940 Darius Garland $36,725,670 Donovan Mitchell $35,410,310 Jerami Grant $29,793,104 Anfernee Simons $25,892,857 Marcus Smart $19,960,285 Lauri Markkanen $18,044,544 Wendell Carter $11,950,000
NO ON KLAY. Has nobody watched his performance last year? Hes NOT the same player he used to be. He was 0-10 one game. 0-10!!! NOPE 👎🏾 Besides, we need bigs. Because Wood & Hayes are huge disappointments
We don't have to worry about Val being played off the floor. He won't be playing against AD, he will be playing on the same team. Furthermore he won't be starting or playing long minutes. But he will be playing in the portion of the game where we have always lose and what he fixes is exactly that which loses the games for us in those minutes. REBOUNDING
I would rather try & get KCP on the NTPMLE & trade for Jerami Grant (or Cam Johnson). Klay & J. Grant would still be tough though. Just need another center
I like klay and hed make us better but we still have fit problems big time.. starting klay beside bron and a.d just doesnt make that much sense when u have to start Austin at the 2... We need a guy like jerami grant and if klay coukd come off the bench wed be good. This is why murray would have been perfect to put beside qustin cuz he could play d still run the point plus still have vando out there...idk man we need a better fitting starting lineup and its also hard with trying to find a guy that can run the point plus is a 3 and D type player.. usually they are 2/3 and wed have to run austin at point and some ppl like rhat but i dont cuz he cant handle ball pressure and isnt that great at running point si when u have to run austin at 2 it makes it very hard to find guys that really fit especially now since murray is gone... Grant would be nice but wed still need a 3 and D high level pg who idek if they are out their cuz dlo cant be the starter for us in the playoffs just doesnt eork or make any sense man. Unless we get a caruso type player idk how klay starts plus we KNOW lakers play better BIG and klay starting isnt what that is
Val brings what we need most and it's not even close. REBOUNDING. Giving up 2nd chance points has lost us more games over the past 2 seasons tha anything else and that is not even close to being close!!
We already took best player available in the draft. Now we MUST sign what we need. That is the very best true big/rebounder available. The fact is there are not 10 guys in the league that help this Lakers team more than that
I like klay if he is coming iff the bench. With austin it makes it hard to make a starting lineup really fit because i dont see him as a starting playoff pointguard. And we need a 3 and D wing at the 2/3.. iif we get grant thats perfect but dlo cant be our playoff guy and i dont think austin can either so really wed need a high level 3 and D point guard and idk if those guys are out there. Austin at the 1 doesnt make me excited at all
I do not believe dlo is an inferior basketball player than reaves. Reaves get held in the status he does because of age. Who’s drawing the better defender? Regular season or playoffs
Lebron wants this done by the end of the next week. It's all on Rob and the Lakers front office from here. We as Laker fans are hopeful of improvements.
They’ll keep Max & they’ll go after Klay. Who they trade D Lo for & with is literally everything right now. I think they should trade D Lo for Sexton. If it’s about having 2 way guys and another ball handler that’s the route they need to go.
Trade DLo, convince LeBron to take the paycut. That’s for starters. Get Klay or Lauri Markkanen is the 2nd step our of many in this riddle (Max Christie, CWood, Cam Reddish, TP…).
Gets an all team selection, takes a pay cut. Wins a championship, yes we will respect him as a laker. He can get a statue. He’s off to a good start. Not to mention even if it is a little gimmicky, he continues to make league history in purple and gold.
Yeah, Klay may not be all-star level, but he is capable of having an all-star worthy game every now and then but you just gotta accept the bad games for him that come along with the good ones I guess. Not to mention, Taurean Prince's best game of the season would be a be good to maybe slightly above average game for Klay. Klay's best game of the season, you blow the other team out by 30, and he hits 9+ threes. Trade for someone else with either DLo or Rui... Personally, I think Cam Johnson, Brogdon, and Grant are all interesting options depending on the price. A good big man that isnt Valunciunas would be great. Rob Williams sounds nice in theory, but he's hurt all the time, lol. Would the blazers trade Ayton with the addition of Clingan? Claxton would've been nice before that contract lol...
With Lakers having 13 on the roster, and LeBron claiming the 14th spot and current RFA Max Christie likely claiming the 15th spot, who will be leaving?
@@k79melo Dejounte and cam Johnson was what I wanted before but nola got him for nothing. Dlo maxwell Lewis and seconds for brown. Rui Jhs Gabe for grant
It is not. Because you have some other guys on the roster that don't help AND don't bring in what Bronny does (LeBron). You need to get rid of JHS, Maxwell Louis, Cam Radish, Christian Wood, that's four spots.
@@vesnam116you can’t just get rid of spots that easily. And keeping old Lebron is not worth it if we can’t compete. We won’t compete without more talent. We sold our souls to Lebron and it won’t pay off
