as someone who’s watched your videos for years, your overall production quality and ability to articulate your points has just consistently gotten better. You produce good stuff dude.
Fr, I feel like he used to rush through his videos and I felt like I was only watching because he had some good takes. You can tell he cares about making good content now.
Remember the Bright Future Suns? That was just two years ago LMAO. They went from Bright Future to No Future with just one playoff run of Bright Present
Then there's also Bradley Beal's no trade clause. Even if they were to want to move him at some point, Beal would get to pick where he gets to go, dictate the trade package or just flat out refuse to be traded, if he really wanted.
Maybe if the Lakers didn’t need to shoot 800 more free throws than anyone else in the NBA just to stay in the play in race they could actually be a competitive team
@@Ryan-gq7bfthe Nuggets shot 9 free throws in game 5 to the Lakers 27. The Lakers MISSED more free throws than the Nuggets even attempted. Austin Reaves had 8 free throws last night and NIKOLA JOKIC had ZERO. Oh, and the Lakers are 27th in drives. The refs clearly favor the Lakers
@@Angel-fg1cgya I don’t see why BKN would give up a 1st to get off of an expiring deal to take on a longer terrible one. They could use the Simmons expiring in some huge trade for Mitchell or whoever they’re going to potentially try and get with those picks they have. I really can’t think of a team that’d trade for Beal tbh, and certainly not for any sort of value.
i truly dont think you can blame the suns gm for their failures. it was truly all on the owner trying to throw his weight around, thinking he knew more than everyone else.
everybody knows it’s the owner, that’s why it’s gonna look really bad if people on the Suns staff start losing their jobs, because it all resulted from new owner syndrome
I think should put "contender" in HEAVY cotes, cause besides the Bucks (who had serious injury problems), those teams aren't contenders in this league 😂
Getting back Alex Caruso would be a dream for the lakers, and would greatly raise their ceiling. I wonder who else could they trade for or sign that would do the same.
windhorst said lebron is expected to decline his option and hit free agency, if that happens then its trade everyone mode for the lakers and prepare for the future
@@chimpchamp6167LA wants Lebron Back They will blow the team up regardless if Lebron opt in or out Lebron Will Sign Back With The Lakers on his terms sign certain players in the off season on Lebrons term Along With AD Lebron Sells Tickets And They Want Em
Man, if they signed Caruso, traded for Brandon Ingram and Josh Hart and Lonzo Ball and hired Frank Vogel they would be a step closer to getting back to their old roster!
The suns need to trade the rest of thier role players for future rookie of the year Ben Simmons. Bring in westbrook too, they can have a full starting 5 of washed has beens.
Lmao at LeBron getting mad at a call last night and walking by a woman sitting in the front row, made a lunge like he was going to punch her. Then hes back laughing putting his hands up joking about how he made her flinch. What a tough guy. TNT overtine second camera angle if you dont believe me.
@nogween1985 just want to understand where you're coming from, so let me ask: Not supporting a dude threatening to hit women is "soft"? Seems like letting some random fan get you so shook you feel like you need to respond like that is pretty soft to me.
@@kyleshuler2929 fans need to hold themselves in check at somepoint especially if they are sitting courtside, just remember metta world peace I gurantee she ain't talking all that if artest was there instead of bron.
It’s fun to see someone be such a vocal Austin Reaves supporter. I feel like a lot of the non laker hype around him died out when he had a slow start to the season. I also strongly believe that AR can get the job done regardless of what’s asked of him. He definitely shows up in the big moments and as you said I just appreciate his consistency. AR just gives consistent effort and I feel at least that he really cares about winning and I appreciate that.
Partially is in the fans and media over hyping him as like an all star when he’s really closer to a good starter or super sixth man. Which is still great but of course when that hype bulls up and you can’t keep up people are going to go silent on you which probably is better for him anyways
Giannis and Dame are both doubtful, so if ur really gonna be a stickler about this, watch it later tonight, and all will correct. I hope u can come back later and tell me I was wrong, but it's gonna be tough for them to overcome that.
Giving Beal an ultimatum either he accepts a trade elsewhere or he’s going to rot in Phoenix by himself cause im trading Book and KD. I’ll make his life miserable
Thats literally the only thing gonna happen if they chose to rebuild. 😂😂 let him rot in the teams bench. To me weather beal with accept it or not. they should just trade booker and durant and consider to rebuild the team, player, staff, GM etc. Salvaging this current team is such a gamble move. Get as many picks and players probably that could be useful atleast.
The suns lack of depth is so crazy that 3-4 players on the end of the wolves bench who didnt play any rotation minutes would either start or be in the rotation off the bench for the suns
For the entire offseason Giannis and Dame need to learn how to run a pick and roll and the entire team needs to learn how to defend one. And fire Glenn
IDK but there should be like a "Rule of The Sun" where a team can only have two max contracts at one time. Would be nice to see more duos around and would certainly make the NBA much more competitive on the East.
Suns would need nick nurse, vogel wasnt bad but once he lost the locker room that was it. They would need to hope for a trade for Tyus Jones since TJ Mconnel wouldnt get moved most likely. Even then the trading is still tricky. Get of the E.G contract, get a better center off the bench. Move beal to the bench if he wont leave. If KD is done with Phoenix, then move off his contract as well.
It’s crazy that I agree with you about the Bucks but also that Bobby just went off and was a difficult matchup for Siakam, Pat Bev looked like a true point, and Pat Connaughton did pretty damn good as well tonight
Wouldn’t be surprised if they make the finals, for some reason almost everytime (I think there was maybe two times it didn’t happen) the team what beats Kevin’s team always goes onto play in the finals
Bucks never should've fired Budenholzer if they planned to get Dame from the start, which I don't think was the case. Firing Bud and getting Dame were not both planned from the start. Regardless I do think firing Griffin was the right move, getting into shootouts 140-135 with the Pistons is gross. I do not think the Bucks finish with a 57 win record under Griffin, maybe like 50-52. Regardless hiring Doc mid-season and extending him was even worse because now you've tied Doc Rivers to the Giannis/Lillard era under til the 2026-2027 which is when both guys are free agents or have player options. Bucks should've just stuck with Prunty as a interim, like they did after firing Kidd, and went into the off-season with a better plan. Budenholzer would be great to bring back or go for Kenny Atkinson or even Terry Stotts. All of those player moves sound great to me that Rusty suggested.
Rusty I just booted the video up but it’s crazy to put the bucks next to these two teams. You mentioned both Giannis and Lillard were out. I’d they are healthy it’s a threat
a lot of people actually. While yes, kobe and shaq are uncomparable to these two, giannis is a superman type player who is strong and athletic and unstoppable, and dame had a reputation for being clutch and being held down by his team. They looked like a really good duo; the modern day kobe and shaq comparison was just hype.
@@kennethxu1789yeah I’m not saying they are a bad duo in theory but they really are incomparable to Kobe and Shaq. I’m curious since I never heard of the comparison Giannis is definitely the closest to shaq in ultimate domination I’ve seen
@@fortynights1513 they would have been arguably unstoppable. Giannis is still great but dame is not the same dame in years past. But yeah Dame really just stayed wayyyy to long with Portland
As a Bucks fan, I’d rather see Lopez gone than Portis. I think his post defense can be covered by Giannis and Bobby, and a younger, quicker center would help us a lot more
KD needs to really consider reworking his contract. This is why I believe the whole “get your bag” thing becomes convoluted, because then there is an excuse that he doesn’t have enough help.
You clearly haven’t seen reaves play PG during the regular season. He can’t run an offense and get others involved the way d lo or bron can. He’s better as the secondary playmaker and slashing creating for his own in the midrange. But no he should not be the starting PG that would be disastrous
Jaxson Hayes isnt good enough to get much time at his natural position but he's decent enough at faking being a center to keep getting contracts for a few more years. If you play an actual center to guard the lane next to Jaxson Hayes and let him just play man up defense and follow one guy around he's incredible. I've seen him lock some incredible players up. I still like Jax tho, he just needs to get on a team that is not asking him to guard the paint and is letting him to kinda find his own role in the NBA game.
the suns are screwed because of the money, the only thing i can think of that is even a possibility to maybe save them is if they have the ability to draft brony. with a vet min lebron they might be able to put a roster together.
I agree with everything you said, especially the suns hate. But I gotta say I disagree when you say the suns were never contenders, didn’t they have one of the highest odds to win the title going into the season? Definitely higher than the lakers right
You are wrong about KD he averaged 27 this year on 50/40 splits. He also has been on terrible teams since he lost to Milwaukee in the playoffs a couple years back.
For me, the Lakers have 2 big problems. One is as you mentioned D'lo. He needs to get traded. Yes he played good in the regular season, but as u said Rusty, he's a jump shooter. He can't slash and draw fouls to save his life so when is jump shots aren't falling, he's basically useless. And he is a horrible defender. Make Reaves your primary point guard as he can do everything D'lo does for the most part + he can draw fouls & get easy buckets. My second biggest problem is that AD cannot play as a center. He got exposed against traditional centers like Jokic, Sabonis and Sengun this season. Let him play as PF. He's at his best when he can roam freely, at times guard the opposing teams best player and play help defense imo. Oh yeah I almost forgot, get rid of Darvin Hamsandwich...
I'm wondering if Lebron will start to practice high P&R this off season. If he somehow adds this to his bags, that could make a big difference against Denver. Especially going to his right and pull up from 3.
The main difference i saw in this playoffs with austin and dlo is that if the 3s arent falling austin still has value in the game while dlo loses almost all impact
I am glad that the Celtics never pull the trigger on that Durant trade, even though he was in trade talk all the time. I feel we would end up like Nets and Suns
