My list would be: stone building, exposed barrel or star vaulted ceilings, cantina, parking, terrace with view of sea or valley, small garden or large patio for lemon trees and herbs in pots, balconies and light! My dream!

Perfect checklist and Yes light! It is so important to have natural light and high ceilings for that large airy space. Great list. Our herbs and lemon tree grew so well in pots while were there last year perfect mediterranean climate for gardening. Thank you for watching. 🙂🤗💛👋

I love your property in Puglia. The improvements carried out in the street have made a big difference to the overall look. of the place. But, I don't blame you for looking to buy in Toscana where I lived for 20 years before coming to Australia. I hate to think what prices for property are like now in my old neighbourhood of Quercianella (Prov Livorno).

Thank you for watching and yes the improvements have really given the town a lift. Wow! how wonderful it must have been to be in Quercianella for all that time. Do you go back to visit? Property now has increased in many areas of Italy and especially the Tuscan region. We are looking around Lajatico in the Valdera area. We have patience to wait for the right property. 🙂🥰💛

@@casamiasalentina5818 My son is going back to Italy in October to visit family in Sicily, Rome & Venice, but I have to stay in Perth with our dogs. I'll go next year. Looking to buy somewhere in the Prov di Lucca.

is't italy really quite small? i took a train from rome to florence and another to naples, niether were more than a couple hours ride time

@@dalton-at-work Yes it's a small country. Italy has a lot of airports and great fast rail system along with ferrys that can take you to all the major cities in a matter of no time. If you are travelling in central Italy quite quick to get to major cities. If you are travelling from Sicily in the south all the way to Lake Garda in the north it does take a lot more travel time.
