The microphones are also used for volume you to tap them to turn it up and down. Always wondered how they did that, thought it was capacitive.

Ahhh, thanks for pointing that out! I would assume the microphone would have a sudden and distinctive spike to maximum reading when tapped directly with a finger, so that could be used to change the volume with nothing more needed than the existing microphone.

Probably a mediatek/marvell or synaptics application processor, some ddr ram and some flash which stores the linux based os which either is android or some propiertary google os
