Design explanation for Granblue characters (Cygames sell their design sketches and documentations as artbooks): Anila Her clothing is based on miko shrine maiden, as well as sheep of the chinese zodiac animal. Her top is like that because Draphs have rough time wearing clothes designed for other races because of their horns, so they often pick clothing with huge neck hole or just... go with Anila style For zodiac characters, Cygames actually held a company-wide design contest and pick the best parts from every employees' designs Anre / Seox Their outfit is actually an official uniform for their crew. Obviously designed for combat first, and then for quick recognition. The Eternals are super powerful crew and well known throughout the world, they handle whole kinds of problems like mafias, reality bending primal beasts. Gran/Djeeta is actually a honorary member and given an Eternal uniform Male Harvins often grow their facial hair so they dont get mistaken for toddlers, which adult female Harvins often do Avatar Belial This is a lore stuff. He basically absorbed Legion and become that, and he still failed to kill Gran/Djeeta Beatrix / Eustace / Vaseraga / Zeta They belong in a group called Society, tl;dr theyre trying to stop the moon people from invading and wiping the planet clean. Since the stuff the Society fight can pretty much instant kill even the toughest soldier, they decided to ignore armor Eustace's right eye is partially blind because he stared at a nuke explosion Vaseraga's face got melted by a Lich Zeta is a princess of a nation. She ran away because its boring af Beelzebub Those "spike thingies" on this shoulders are fly body parts. I mean, his name is Beelzebub, the Demon Lord of Flies Belial Again, his name. A fallen angel. He does whole kinds of debauchery and deceitful acts. He used to wear a military style outfit, then he changed his attire to signify his rebellious heart His introduction literally him having his arm around a woman, sweet talking and buttering her up Cagliostro He was born 1000 years ago with a frail and sickly body. Getting tired of dying, he went and research alchemy with his sister. He basically pulled a Full Metal Alchemist He picked a cute girl style so he could trick people to buying and treating him into expensive stuff Charlotta Shes the leader of Holy Order of Lumiel. Basically a fancy and dandy group of knights, like what you see in most Japanese media Her whole thing is loving kid meals but denying when around people, and height superiority complex (funny thing is, she is above average Harvin height) Djeeta / Gran Growing up in village in the middle of nowhere, swinging swords in her backyard. Gran's fighting style is more wild and unconventional Ferry / Lowain / Metera / Yuel Strimer didnt know notice the Erune's immaculate fashion style Ladiva She grew up in the bad neighborhood, lots of murder and crimes. Which leaves a lot of orphans, so Ladiva decide to take care of them. Then, she got scouted to be a duelist at a casino and here we are She put up a show like hyping the crowds Lucilius Strimer didnt notice his high heels Siegfried He used to be the commander of Order of the Black Dragons, the predecessor of Lancelot's Order of the White Dragons. Siegfried got accused of murdering the king of Feendrache kingdom, and goes into hiding for few years. He started wearing that armor just before meeting Gran/Djeeta Vira Shes the lord of Albion Citadel. She made a pact with primal beast Luminiera and bounded to the island, if she leaves the island, the primal beast kills her Granblue's character designer is Hideo Minaba, who is the artist for many Final Fantasy games. He established the ground works for Granblue artstyle, and I mad respect for him since he still doing physical water color paint

i haven't seen the argument yet, but i've spoiled myself with the ending. Seeing MY BOY, THE MOUSTACHE'd HARVIN (anre/uno), in the lower tier, alongside with the other eternal (seox) is a reason good enough to break membership!!! you'll need a very good argument madame!!! JUst kidding i won't break my membership, but you might break my heart.
