@@jimmysautoparts2452 good morning Jimmy. I have a question, you know more about the market on the 38 super Colt, i’m wanting to add one to my collection and I found one it’s a Colt competition stainless steel 38 super but I’m looking at 14+ tax. Would you consider that a good, fair or bad investment? at that price point. It’s new in the box. Colt suggested retail is a little over $1000. But the market is so crazy right now. That’s where I’m getting confused. Any suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks have a great day!
@@andybetz8820 Hi Andy, Sounds like the O1073CCP model that they released recently. Great firearm. They added the checkering to the grip area that the previous Competition Model (O1073CCS) did not have. I have a video on it I posted recently. I paid $1399 (+tax but no transfer fee) for mine at a gun show when I got it. In the $1350 to 1400 range is the lowest I have seen that firearm with around 17 to 19 being the more commonly seen price. I saw a few sell at the $2000 range on Gunbroker when they first hit a couple of weeks ago. At that price I'd say it is a good/fair investment. I don't think you'd ever lose money at that price. The market remains crazy on 38 Super's in the big picture. Good luck, Jimmy
@@jimmysautoparts2452 yes sir that is the model number on it that I’m looking at O1073CCP of course, he was asking 1800. But he did accept my offer, so it looks like I will be going on a road trip to pick one up. I sure do appreciate your input. And, quick reply. Thank you again, sir and have a great day!
of course is not for sale but how much did you paid for? And hypothetically how much would you sell it for? I know is not for sale, but to know an estimated value? For information purposes.
