Since Kape Technologies and Nord Security are two of the main competitor companies in the VPN market, you can bet that I’m always keeping an eye out for them. You know how it often is, VPNs are searched more often when a new geo-restricted streaming show pops up so I thought: what if PIA is the best option to stream the Fallout show that just came out? What if it’s hyped up because Surfshark, ExpressVPN, or NordVPN for Netflix are just not reliable options anymore?
I checked all four VPNs and the results couldn’t have been further from that. In general, PIA struggles with British libraries the most and tends to force users to deal with CAPTCHA on streaming websites, which keep treating the PIA connection as suspicious.
I’ve not seen anything like that with NordVPN vs Surfshark, and even Kape’s own ExpressVPN performed really well across most streaming platforms, regardless of the region.

Privacy-wise, comparing NordVPN versus ExpressVPN, both are golden, chef’s kiss. Great jurisdiction, ExpressVPN - first to develop RAM-only servers, and ExpressVPN - one of the earliest to join in together with Surfshark, and all that jazz. Of course, ExpressVPN had a slip-up recently, with its split tunneling feature causing a DNS leak, but it was fixed really fast, which I really didn’t expect!

So.. I already had PIA and have been using it casually and happily for a while.. Starting with your "safety" section you seem underwhelmed by its security options because its wire guard section only has timeout and MTU options.. While glossing over the VERY customizable Open VPN section that has ALOT of options to fit needs that the others don't seem to have at all. Not to mention the LONG list of security extras in the PIA broswer extension AND the optional security services they offer to bundle in when you sign up! So.. are you bias? or is there something SO BAD about open VPN protocol that you just gloss over all PIAs options there? Next with your privacy section you seem to praise the Nord crew of VPNs as being "CHEFS KISS" and just gloss over Nords colored history? They had a breach in 2018 and didn't tell their users for an ENTIER YEAR! While its nice to know now that no user data was breached then, its NOT exactly chefs kiss to keep your customers in the dark for a year. On top of that you also admire Express VPN despite knowing of their "slip up" with spit tunnel. The only issue you have with PIA is its origin country? And its had no such breach or user data issues despite that location? How is location such a worry if its never amounted to any issues? You finish off that section by saying PIA is worse then all the others? WHAT?!? SO all the rest of your points seem fine.. Its lack of speed.. The fewer number of servers (probably) that make it not as good as others for streaming content.. Ya. all that is fine but also VERY expected given its BARGIN price.. and I'm sorry but you just seem so disingenuous when you don't give it the credit for being as good as it is.. as safe as it is.. for the PRICE that it is.. I don't understand how you could be so deceptively bias away from PIA given all I've pointed out. i think you REALLY need to revisit this with a more even mindset and perhaps do a BIT more research to the features you clearly didn't know it had/has.

First I must to say I like your channel and you are very contribute to the community! Just tried ExpressVPN for 30 days and now gonna try the NordVPN.For ExpressVPN the service is amazing , very fast, very stable and the customer service is the best I met so far. Thanks for the video. Though to be honest most of this content is waaaay above me. I mean, I get that VPNs make surfing the web safer but I don't even know what torrenting is, 90% of the other things you talked about. Anyway, the main reason I'm looking at a VPN is wifey and I are going to Europe for two weeks and I've heard that using a VPN can trick Verizon not thinking I'm still in the US and avoid the international charges they whacked me with last year when we were in Portugal. This true?
