What's the best way to cook bacon in the Tovala oven

It's so easy to cook bacon in the Tovala and it's even easier to clean afterwards! This will really improve my Saturday morning multitask-cook sessions!

Can I just say that you and your videos are awesome, and I discovered them AFTER ordering my Tovala oven and cooking my first week of meals. You now have opened my mine up to the possibilities I wasn't even considering beyond their meal plan. You are a natural trainer/presenter, and I appreciate your style, tone, friendliness, and the info you share. Your energy and positivity is fun. Keep up the great work. I'm glad I found your channel. I tried the bacon yesterday & found I have to do thick cut bacon for about 20 minutes at 400 degrees for a perfect doneness (I like it a bit soft, but not too limp).

With the baking in the aluminum foil, cover the top with parchment paper, you won’t have to clean any oven there won’t be any grease

I LOVE my Tovala, but it’s only me in the house and the meal plans just get too much to eat. I CRAVE BACON!! I HATE a conventional oven. So thank you for the ‘How To’ on cooking this delicious dish in my beloved Tovala. 🥓❤

Can you microwave anything in it? It says it reheats, but what about warming up water in a cup like a regular microwave?

The cleaning is my question. Seems like spitting bacon grease would be a pain to get out of the oven.

After I've cooked bacon, I wait until the oven has cooled about half way down and then hit it with a dry paper towel. That tends to get up almost all of the grease.

Can you do one on how to clean it if you forget to wipe the bacon grease out... or clean anything out since you got the oven almost 2 years ago...

I won't ever cook meat in my Willsence digital toaster oven. And I always cook bacon in my microwave. Way less mess.

I really like it in my Tovala! It does splatter a little bit but if I hit it with a paper towel while it's still warm it's easy to wipe it all up.

Your concept of bacon needs clarification. What you call “crispy” bacon is literally burned. The bacon you take out and call a “fail” is in fact perfect bacon - thoroughly cooked, but not burned. Don’t worry. Almost all Americans think they should burn bacon. Think of it this way: would you want a steak, a pork chop, or any other cut of meat to be cooked until it is hard? I thought not. Bacon is just like any other cut of meat - moist and tender should be the goal.
