same as getting a residency or starting a Pg in Germany. You can establish a practice after you finish your 5 year PG in General medicine., :)

Depends on a lot of factors including the path you choose, the visa you apply for, and if you choose to do a hospitation or join a language institute.

With so many recent changes in immigration rules are people still applying for a job seeker's visa or are there new types of visas for hospitation? Also can someone still apply for 6 months like you did or is it a must to apply for at least 1 year visa?

Depends on your status.. there are many visas which are now available and are easier to get than job seeker’s visa

If someone has already done a fellowship in radiology , is this recognized in Germany or one has to start PG training again. I will highly appreciate if you can guide. Thanks a lot

fellowship cannot be equated to a PG. Depending on if and where you have completed your PG education, it will be evaluated based on your curriculum, time duration and language of study. This evaluation is done on a case to case basis and the only way to find out is to write to the landesprüfungsamt of the state of interest. Hope that helps. Alles Gute!

I believe Hospitation isn’t going to be a problem for you. Using hospitation to apply for a visa is also not going to be a problem. But, you will need to register as a doctor either in belarus or in your home country first, before you can apply to start working either with a BE or Approbation in Germany.

Hello sir ! Since I saw your channel I’ve been hooked on watching all of your videos. So currently I’m trying to move to a different university considering my previous university was in Ukraine. But as I’m originally from India 🇮🇳 , would it be okay if I apply for PG in Germany right after getting my degee and license from the country I complete my degree from or is NMC FMGE mandatory ?

I do not know the answer to the question „number of doctors going to Germany for PG“. Maybe the German embassy can give you an answer? Hope that helps.

you don't. It is a free Internship with some administrative costs towards the university. It helps you save money time and effort, trains you for the future as a PG in germany, for free. Why would they in addition to all that pay you?

Excellent question physicsmagic. There are a number of options available both online and offline. I can tell you my experience. I chose to learn German with my german language teachers from school. It was serendipity that I’d found them and I’m so glad i did. I joined with them an offline course, that is traditional whiteboard and classroom learning. And I’m happy i did it this way as i got motivation to keep learning even on the days i didn’t want to learn. I learned from a1 to b1 like this. B2 and C1 are special. For that one needs specific instructions and focus. For these two parts, i requested my teachers for one on one learning. Doing that enabled me to get through both b2 and c1 exams in one attempt with a leaning period of one month each. After a year of having learned German and having started to work in Germany, Covid-19 happened and classes couldn’t be held in a classroom anymore. So i know, that my teachers switched over to being available online to their students. But they still continued to teach with a whiteboard and still have a full classroom in their online school. And there are students which are satisfied with their learning experience online. I mention this so that you understand that the decision ultimately lies with you. Use what you can online or offline to learn as much as possible. Overall I’d say i loved the experience of learning one to one the most. But in the beginning I’ll suggest a classroom experience. Now that Covid-19 is over, classes have resumed again in the traditional classroom with my teachers. Ofcourse they love what they do and have been teaching for over 35+ years. So, choose wisely and go for it. Hope that helps! Alles Gute!
