Remember... The GR101 has the griddle. The 100 does not, and without it, the machine is much less compelling, Imo. If you liked this Ninja Foodi Smart XL Grill unboxing also: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7yemj8awdWM.html
I was on the fence between this unit and the Blackstone e-series I ended up with the Blackstone primarily because a griddle is what I was looking for and nobody does griddle better than Blackstone.
I’ve had the one you bought Joe for about 1 month now and enjoying it so far. I have to say though that’s it’s So unNinja like, Zero controls except the Dial to turn on and other than that just the usual sound 😋 It’s a shame I couldn’t buy through your site as you wouldn’t get anything from here in the U.K. I’m waiting now for Ninja to release their Soadstream Killer? the Thirstsi over here sometime this year. Do I need it No, do I want it, Damn Right, I Hate Ninja 😂😂
According to Ninja "The griddle plate is PTFE/PFOA-free ceramic coated and nonstick for easy cleanup." doesn't really say what exactly they make the coating from other than ceramic though.
@@JoesPhenomenal "Regarding the materials of the GR101UK model, the cooking plates are ceramic-coated and contain PTFE, like most non-stick frying pots and pans. The mesh is stainless steel, the same material used for oven racks." This is from their support which I had asked earlier today. Ended up purchasing the max pro grill instead as that description says it's PTFE free.
