There are a few different ways of retaining information such as for legal reasons, investigations, and keeping data if a user purges or a regulator might tell you to keep the information or even delete it. This 20-minute session walks through the core repositories for where data is kept and how these policies work over and above the default out of the box retention works. Lots of organisations don't realise these tools exist and look to purchase 3rd party backup tools.
