I made the mistake of purchasing a 43X first than realized I should have gotten the MOS version. Long story short, I am now the proud owner of both a 43X and 43X MOS Glock. You never can have too many Glocks
Bought my 43X MOS a few months back, and absolutely love it. Never thought another Glock would replace my G26 for EDC. The hit the jackpot with the 43x mos. Unless Glock makes magic again, this will be my EDC firearms for a long time.
Another informative video without making those with less knowledge feel out of place. You always do a great job with that. I've heard a lot of people brag about how you educate people in your videos
I definitely try to talk to the new Handgun community. It is very complicated for a newer firearm owners, so I try to make simplistic videos with just enough information that it isn’t too complicated. The same less is more is definitely what I tried to provide so that those who watch the channel can understand what I am saying. My channel is definitely not geared towards those who have years of firearm experience or shoot competitively but brand new shooters is my goal target
I personally love a gun which is precut and ability to mount a light so imo 💯 worth it. The Holosun eps carry is a favorite optic for these thin guns too. I have sig, hex, vortex, swampfox and trijicons too but Holosun is def my go to optic
Great video, I have the 43x and in the process of training for the MOS just for the customization options. Better the have it and not need it than to need it and not have it! Plus the trade is cheaper than getting the slide cut or buying a 3rd party slide
Absolutely! I think you’ll enjoy the mos vs the standard if u ever want to add an optic (Holosun eps carry) is my optic of choice for this size firearm!
@@nOObels1 so I honestly like the 2moa dot w 32 moa circle That is my favorite bc a 2 moa dot at 10 years target is about .2 inches but a 32 moa circle at 10 yards is about 3.2 inches. So in close quarters that big circle is going to be easy to put on a threat imo. For perfect accuracy argument, it’s a pistol and not the right pistol for competitive bullseye competition so I throw that argument out the window .
I recommend the g43x mos topped with a Holosun eps carry optic! It’s a great little package perfect for range or edc i of r if you get into competition like IDPA you could still run it!
EPS Carry is designed for Glock specifically. Carry uses the “shield” footprint while a 507c uses RMR footprint. They also have direct mounted optics for other manufactures, but it would be a different version optic
Your welcome bud. And yes the diamondback was a good little back up. They make the smallest 9mm there is. Good little 6 round back up. I had the Gen 1 of it. But if you’re curious or interested. May have to check out the diamondback DB9 4th Gen. around $250 new or so.
@@Shadow3ffect might pick one up just because! This year my focus will be long range shooting then I’ll be going back to some pistol work! But I buy a lotta gun for my students to try out prior to them buying a gun n hating it
@@SmallArmsPistolAcademyHell yeah be a good buy. And makes the perfect pocket pistol or ankle gun. I carried mine on my ankle as a back up for over 10 years. Carry it in the pocket when would go to church or the gym etc. 6 rounds is better than no rounds. One of the good things with diamondback is they have a lifetime warranty and they’re American made. Also all 4 gen’s of their mags work in all generations of the DB9.
I prefer the longer slide so I went with the 48. For me it was easier sight radius and quicker follow up shoots and they both print the same on me but of course the shadow of my &$$ has to weigh 50 lbs
Hey man I’m 14 I know im young but I live in West Virginia so you only have to be 18 to buy and own a gun but at that age there is a permit but besides that I would probably just choose a simple Glock 43x when I turn 18
I personally love a shotgun for home protection- something about a pump shotgun that says, “I just messed up” prior to hearing a gun shot but this’ll work too
Absolutely! The reason I love shotgun v pistol for home defense is actually bc here in nys we have the right to retreat law. DISCLAIMER: I am not an attorney nor police officer so this is in no means legal advice! Although I could “protect my castle” if I can retreat safely I should do that first. Using a shotgun and aiming in the pitch dark at my bedroom doorway or securing the hallway gives me an increased chance of hitting my attacker instead of a single projectile from a pistol.
I got the G43X because I'm not looking for trouble, once you start adding optics and lights you should just get a full sized pistol. The G43X is meant to be a simple conceal carry defensive pistol.
Well the g43x mos is meant for an optic n I do agree, I run a full size zev oz9 w optic n light for my edc. Biggest reason is where the holster hits me for aiwb on smaller guns is uncomfortable so I carry full slide guns bc I truly find it more comfortable
just to be clear I'm not hating on the MOS, I do like it. I am envious that you use a full size pistol, I'm very small and thin so larger pistols aren't as comfortable for me.@@SmallArmsPistolAcademy
Yikes, I don't recommend releasing the slide unless you are chambering a cartridge 0:43, guide it forward gently. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LJdsSJsNKU8.html
