It was always going to be WTP this week, however the first idea I was going with turned out to be both too ambitious and sorta boring, going to need a tad more time before it can come out. Fortunately Democratic Baltics have been on my list of ideas for months so I wasn't entirely out of luck this time.
Hello Bubbles Zest, I have a few idea of future "What's the point ?" : - The "Surrender the East" path for Communist Poland - The "The Beck-Ribbentrop Pact" path for fascist Poland - The Orléanist France path !
As an Estonian, I can tell you that you absolutely buchered all the words lmao hahah. If I didn't see the text, I'd have no idea what you're saying. // Also, you can build impenetrable fortress in Tallinn or on the island of Saaremaa. In that case, even without guarantees, you can hold it until Germany and Soviets go to war and then wait until Soviets lose. Then you get your territory back. I even ended one game with having one extra province near Leningrad.
Opposite for me. In Vanilla I only ever played a fascist nation once (poland cossack king), and I don't think I ever played a communist nation. Edit: to clarify, I have around 800 hours I always turn democratic or non aligned. I just don't have any fun playing fashs or commies, because I like to immerse myself as the nation I am playing, and imagine I am defending it from invaders. Having a murderous ideology rule it kinda defeats the point of how I like to play.
Now I know the point of Baltic union, it’s for vanilla multiplayer, every baltic nation does the focuses, let the union buffs stacks and becomes significantly stronger, together hold the line
you desperately need support aa in your divisions. Engineer company wouldve been useful aswell. you could even hold the border with these support companies
Germany annoyingly rejecting granting the guarantee is part of why I always rush the guarantee as any Baltic nation, so that I can cut the run short if necessary 😂 I can’t say I’ve detected any pattern, it seems like it’s just predetermined from the beginning of your run.
You probably could have survived if you added engineer support, AA support and made your main template the standard 22 width with arty. I did this as Vapsid Estonia with a puppet Finland while not in the Axis and survived pretty easily.
In any baltic playthrough i always went foe allied trade, due to the 300 or so british planes. This for the most part ensured my air superiority over the baltic (because the soviets didnt bother to put planes in the baltic if i had 400-500 planes up there). Then i just sit there and wait until Germany pushes the soviets so that i can start pushing too.
@@BubblesZest I mean static AA. Plus maybe go down the economic path on the right for military factors maybe? Plus maybe support equipment for entrenchment is worth not having some units
