I am so amazed at Jackson’s abilities. He is using a fork, stepping down off steps, and unbuckling the cube. He is one smart kid and it makes me so happy. Tim tripped me out about what is the point of working out of you can’t eat m&ms. And Jenn you are awesome with the videos and editing. I love your hard work. A just to tell you all thank you (and pay the price). Oh Tim....the awkward baby gate moment.

Just an idea-I wear those inexpensive silicone rings to work when I know I will be washing my hands a bunch (I'm a nurse) and don't want to ruin my wedding set. Maybe something like that would be useful when you know you're going to be using sunscreen and washing hands a ton.

I only ever take my rings off when I'm cleaning them. They never come off. Sunscreen and handwashing does them no harm! (Unless they're too big and need sized of course). I have my mum's diamond solitaire, and it's around 40 years old, and looks like brand new. She never took it off either 💖

@@lindatannock I used to work @ a Jewelry Store & if u leave ur Rings on they will get very dirty & lose their shine so always always remove the before putting on sunscreen, washing ur hands & Lotion

Word of caution as Jackson continues to be more nimble: the couch upstairs in his play area is very close to the end of the stair rail. If he runs up to it while standing on the couch, or leans over it to look down, he could flip over the rail and down the stairs. We haven't seen him go close to it on any videos, but just a heads up.

I don’t know about the banana. But a nurse once advised against giving cows milk at bedtime unless you brush their teeth right after. The milk can rot their gums and teeth if they fall asleep drinking a bottle, and their breathe will smell so bad in the morning....

Yep, we were told the same by our pediatrician. Milk has a lot of sugars and can damage their teeth if coats their teeth overnight. We were told to give our son water at bedtime.

Bluey is our absolute favorite show to watch as a family. So much content for adults as well as children. We play crazy pillow every night before bed. Also we like to use Bluey sayings as well as the games they play as a family.

Cows milk has a lot of sugar in it and has been linked to night wakings for older toddlers. You could do milk in the sippy cup at dinner and water before bed. My son is 9 months now so we haven’t had to deal with this yet. We have already ditched the pacifier. Love your videos! ❤️

My ten month old daughter is obsessed with Bluey. It’s the only show that even catches her attention. She has the Bluey and Bingo plushies which she plays with every day. Glad Jackson loves it too!

Find your local Once Upon a Child store and sell your items. I have found that clothes are too much trouble, but stuff like toys and those kinds of baby gates are almost always taken by them.

doing 30-40 minutes a few times a week on my elliptical has made a HUGE difference with my cardio. I've had it for years and it's been a great investment. Put on some good tunes and enjoy my time. Good for you for quitting coffee, that I don't see myself ever doing.

Omg Bluey is for the grownups too! The “grandpa” episode made me cry! At the end he is standing there with Blueys mom talking about something she did as a kid and she says “that was so long ago” and her dad said “it was yesterday”. So true!! The days may be long but the years are fast.

Please please pull the couch away from the railing at the top of the stairs if you can. Jackson is so mobile now it could literally take a second for him to be too close when stood on the couch. He’s doing amazing, growing up so quick! 🙂

Some of your food delivery can be made, placed in rubber tv dinner containers with lids and frozen. That way if you don't feel like making dinner, you can pop it in the microwave.

On losing the ring: I've forgotten mine in my pocket more than once and found it in the wash. I don't wear my rings much anymore (I wear them on a necklace), but I started clipping it on a carabiner on my key chain so they'd stay put. I made it a habit so if I ever forgot them, I'd know exactly where they were.

Twice I took off my rings before taking a shower, and I put them on top of my pile of dirty clothes on the floor because I feared that if I put them on the counter, I might knock them into the sink. But then I forgot the rings were there, threw my clothes into my hamper and of course they sunk down so I had to shake every piece of clothing out before I found them. Never again! Your carabiner idea is a good one for in the parks!

Just something that I noticed during the beginning of this video. The couch upstairs with his little play area, is the railing next to it your stairs? It could be just the angle of the footage, but it looks like Jackson could possibly climb on the couch and then over that railing 😱 hopefully it’s not as easy as it looked, and I know y’all don’t leave him unattended and are great parents...just something that caught my eye and maybe want to be mindful of 😌

Good for you for making exercise a priority! I know I really struggled too with making time between work, kids etc. I found an online accountability group (obsessed with Disney no less) that really helps keep me motivated and my workouts are all 20-30 minutes in my living room so hopefully you guys can motivate each other and enjoy those M&Ms as a reward lol.

Happy birthday Tim! Hope you are having a lovely day! Share the same day as my sister! With regards to the night time routine, I would avoid giving Jackson anything to eat such as banana or other foods at bedtime, give him a nice bath and a nice bottle of Cow's milk and it will be soothing enough for him to go to bed and hopefully sleep through. Our 12 month old has just moved over to cow's milk and she has been going to bed earlier and still sleeps through. Jenn, so happy they found your wedding ring! Love Ceri x

For sandwiches we use a product from pampered chef. It says cut and seal on it. Plastic ones didn’t work too well for us.

Banana’s give you energy plus it takes a long time to digest and can cause belly ache or constipation, best time for a banana is morning or early afternoon. The best is the scent of lavender to premote sleep

I always gave my children milk before bed. My son preferred warm and my daughter, cold. My son is 12 now and still drinks a cup of milk before bed! 😊

You guys always make me hungry. Jackson is cute as always. Why don't you use the play area dividers outside as a maze game for Jackson to run through when he is two or three. Tim since you're into excercise use dividers as hurdles you can jump in the back yard. You might even get another dog someday you can make a dog play place.

Play gates also work well for pets, so even if you dont use it for another baby, if you get a dog that you need to house train, there ya go! Or, you can always donate it to an animal shelter or something?

Yes bananas are great. I put them with a bit of peanut butter and make it mushy and add it to vanilla yogert kind of like a smoothy. During dinner before we start bed time routine. Yes I eat snacks and chocolate while I work out some times.

A tip somebody gave me that works very well, turn the handles on your doors upside down, so that you have to lift the handle to open the door. This is a good way of child proofing your doors with out adding gadgets that make holes.

I've always heard KIWI promotes sleep, I always remember an adult eating 2 kiwis before bed, theres something in them that endorses sleep or something? But who knows! I guess fruit also has sugar in it?

Just looked it up, and you're correct! They contain seratonin (which I didn't know!) Bananas have tryptophan that converts to seratonin, so they aid sleep too.
