As a French girl I am offended. Evil plans are only for Thursday and we wear our bérets on Sunday when we chill and eat baguettes and cheese. And yes. We only drink wine.
Dat Curse Of Monkey Island music got me all nostalgic and wanting to get a haircut from pirates while one of them chokes on a jawbreaker and turns purple.
By the way, they even make fun of the movie it's ripping off. "Houses aren't aerodynamic." All that does though is create a plothole. WHY DID YOU MAKE A HOUSE FLY?
I'm Chinese, and I can't believe these bootleggers actually had the gall to make this thing so offensive. I mean, the art is looks like it was made in the early 90s.
I remember hearing an audio interview with Mike Pollock somewhere, and while most of the questions were either Sonic-related or more generalized, they did in fact ask about the Brinquedo films, and his answer was basically the same thing you brought up here (That he's not proud of it, but actors gotta eat).
Au contraire. I'm proud of my performance in the piece, but not necessarily the piece itself. I did the best I could with the material I was given, which is why I was hired.
I'm progressively gaining weight, so I have to run 3 miles every day to keep myself from becoming the living embodiment of a potato. Just my report from quarantine.
Wanna know another horrible voice actor mistake fact? No? Screw you i'm doing it anyway. The panda in The Little Panda Fighter is voiced by Dan Green....
finally, somebody isnt outright against Mike Pollock -^- i still respect the guy who helped build some of the most influential parts of my childhood :3
These get 5 star reviews on amazon, probably from the crooks that made them. Seriously, I saw a review that said 'Ratatoing changed my life!' It's a fucking joke!
I don't mind Mike Pollock taking the horrible film jobs and thus lowering his standards... but it does make me question, how low a paycheck is he willing to work for? I mean with animation this low quali, I can't even imagine how this studio could afford voice actors, let alone Doctor Eggman himself.
Honestly I kind of doubt that SEGA or whoever pays him to play Dr. Eggman pays him much more than these guys. Voice actors aren't paid as much as you might think.
I actually found your channel from the Ratatoing video! I have a very weird obsession with bootleg cartoons, so I'm always searching for reviews on RU-vid :3
This movie's usage of Ching Ling as a character can be summed up with this Danny Sexbang quote: "That's lacist." One thing I've noticed is pretty much every Video Brinquedo movie was dubbed by people who used to work for 4Kids back in the 00s. I know Mike Pollock's doing well for himself as Sega did keep him as the voice of Eggman when Sega changed out the Sonic voice cast in 2010, but I'm hoping the other former 4Kids VAs have gone on to better things and aren't just doing more of this mockbuster stuff (as in I hope they've found stable work for companies that do VA for legit cartoons, video games, or anime dubs).
I know the guys who did Yugioh still do the character voices, what with the new movie featuring Dan Green, and Duel Links, the game, having the actors reprise their roles.
not sure if trolling, or *looks at the icon* nvm.........seriously...english dub naruto is actually one of the very few thats similar in pitch to the japanese ova........but some anime, ill rather watch in english.......like the recent dub of one piece, the ocean dub of dbz *screw dbz kai*, and cowboy bebop. listening to the original voices on something like DBZ or one piece and it comes out as ear piercing XD.
2:30 While that may be true(And while I have nothing against Mike Pollock for taking these roles), I do wonder just how well the Video Brinquendo dubbing paid.
What's Up?: Balloon to the Rescue is just as bad as the film it is a sequel to, Little and Big Monsters (a Monsters vs. Aliens mockbuster), which was recapped in the beginning of this film.
And I think the reason why there's no evil Brit is because that's an USA thing. We don't have that in Brazil. We don't even have an equivalent "Evil Portuguese" trope, and we probably have more reason than the Americans, likely even for the Evil Brit trope. lol
This movie is a sequel to "Little and Big Monsters", which was Video Brinquedo's knock-off of "Monsters vs Aliens". The previous movie fills you in on why the scientists are famous and how the four of them became a monster busting team.
People saying "How low can you go?" when it comes to these renowned VA's acting out parts in these unbelievable shitvids. Meanwhile I'm sitting here thinking how it'd be a fucking blast to have a go at it Lol.
Really good video Scarfulhu, but the cringe content on this is so high, (from the movie clips) i have to pause every 10 seconds so i don't overload my systems XP
Y'know the Amanda/Jean Pierre romance has a bit of a creepy vibe when you realize that when Amanda is supposed to be a teenager and still in high school(the magazines tell us so, and she is referred to as "child" along with Guto); and while we do not know Jean Pierre's age he does seem to be hinted to be an adult. Now, I'll be generous and give them credit and assume that maybe Amanda is 16-17 and Jean Pierre is 18.
wait a minute.......crazy white people.......portals opening up to some weirdo dimension releasing monsters on the world...villains with stupid agendas.....this isnt just a shitty Up rip off, but a shitty Doom rip off as well XD. that or i have too much time on my hands to even be able to draw a connection between the 3
Is it to harsh for me to bash the graphics and animations. Because Literary made better animations at my first attemps, seriously just check it out. I mean if it was made by a couple of kids it would be okay. But I just kinda don't get how anyone who would call themself slightly a professional would do such horrible animations even if they got only a quarter of the usual salary. I mean how do you even get them that bad. Don't ask me why but for some reason I found this movie to be more disturbing than ratatoing.
This was painful to watch, even with Scarfulhu talking over it and calling out its mistakes. I can't imagine what it would be like to actually watch the entire travesty of a film.
You reviewed one episode on Sam & Max about hypnoses? Dude, the whole season that episode was from was about hypnoses! Also, I won't spoil the final episode of Save The World, but I will say that the main villain behind it all was pretty obvious.
I see people saying you put "We Are Number One" somewhere in here. Maybe I'm just deaf but I can't find it. Does anyone have a time stamp to it or maybe a link to the song at the end if that's really the song.
lol nevermind about "We Are Number One" cuz I had already found it but I was so tired I didn't even realize it. That end card song is still great though.
