I grew up in the 50's when civility was the rule and people were proud to be Americans. A man could take care of a family on his salary alone and that included a mortgage, a car, and all the other things of life. Now, that World is gone and nothing make sense. Some people know only despair and many are just one paycheck away from losing everything. Now we stare into the darkness and happiness eludes us.
I don't blame them completely because we've not given people much hope these days, it seems like folks have given up. Growing up in the 50s would be awesome. That was the prime of American life, and it's unfortunate that today a family of four can't even afford a house with both parents working full-time
I believe in the American dream and that change starts from within! We can affect the unity field consciousness by holding the bar standing on our truths morals and values, and the world will reflect the communities we build. We will be the light that shines that casts away darkness by virtue of our true selves.
Probably so many reasons that you could never sort them out. But the culture really is toxic. I live in a smallish town and meet a lot of nice people, and the ones that are not so nice I just pretty much ignore, since there's nothing I can do about it.

I get depressed because peeps are down right unkind. Don’t fret, it’s pure ignorance. There was a day, when we all made each other a “friend”. That’s over. I can’t handle it.

I found your channel through your Nicotina rustica growing video, im growing them myself now and theyve taken off mate, its great. Regardless, this video is very real. Being a human is pain and confusion with glimmers of love and hope. Its pleasant to be one of those glimmers to everyone you meet if youre able.... or at least not treat otherhuman beings like dog excrement. Be real, be truthful and be loving
@carpo719 sounds good brother, i love the setup you've got going looks fuckin great. I've only got a few plants right now and I grow indoors but I'd like to grow outside soon... weather isn't ideal for it here so I'll keep my little plants going for now.... such a buzz seeing them grow so well and healthy
No manners is my biggest pet pieve. And so many people have no manners noweadays. Thank you for pointing it out Carpo. I always had manners growing up, unfortunately like you said that used to make me highly vulnerable to malevolent people. I had to learn to be careful who I'm respectful to and who doesn't deserve that sort of kindness. I'm one of those few young people that always understood why manners are so important. Who am I kidding though, I'm 26 now. In my opinion it really shows how intelligent you are as a person if you have manners, or if you don't... how unintelligent you are. It's takes a lot of practice and understanding to be a well mannered and respectable human being, which a lot of my peers lack. Ironically none of my friends growing up lacked manners and that basic understanding. I think it can be blamed heavily on multiple factors, but ultimately blame is one sided and the only one you have to blame at the end of the day is yourself for not putting in the work. The more trauma and life experience you have, the more you should understand manners.
I see it on the regular, blocking the aisle or doorway in a store, aactually acknowledging you're there and then going back to their inane conversation. I don't like touching ppl unnecessarily, you brush off them and they look at you as if there's something wrong with you! Then there's the obnoxious, loud conversations in a train carriage or coach, noise cancelling headphones are a necessity in these vulgar times.
Well Josh. You have some pretty kick a* skills. Do you look down on a janitor, because he is not able to, or has not done what you do, or something equivalent? Serious question. I doubt you do. And, I'm not looking for an answer. That was meant as a sort of private self-assessment. I just asked myself that, right now. The answer for me is, no and hell no!! If you do, you may want to think really hard about that. If you don't, then congratulations, in my opinion. You treat others like you want to be treated, judging others by their charaecter. Now, i am slightly older than you, so i am not some idiot, disrespectful kid. Besides, you of all people know that knowledge and wisdom has to do with intellect, not age. But yeah, i agree with everything you said. That's why i don't think you treat people, like garbage. Sorry for being so long-winded. I tried to be as concise as possible. Now i gotta check to see if that intellect word is fitting. Yup, looks like it will work. A little side note. I was thinking of undertaking to learn roofing. You see. I have to put a new roof on the house, in about 6 years. Doing it myself, I'll probably get some Mainard shingles, they are supposedly the best right now. I got some 30-year shingles last time. I was thinking of saving some money and picking up a skill to boot. From what I can tell, the biggest deals with roofing are, the starter shingles, establishing and following the pattern, and not putting the nails in the wrong place, thereby, the chance of creating a leak goes way down.
