That is not true. The rainbow predates Noahs flood myth. Before Noahs flood myth, the gods of Gilgamesh created the rainbow as a sign of no more world wide floods on earth. Mythology begets mythology. The Homosexual has taken the rainbow the same way the Christian has.

I know I will get a lot of flak for saying this, but, there is a HUGE difference between "righteous" pride and pride that is ego-led. Just as there is a difference between anger and righteous indignation. For example: a mother sees her son walk across the stage to receive his diploma and she is proud of him. I am proud to boldly proclaim the name of Jesus! That type of "pride" is far different from the type that causes people to be stiff-necked and arrogant. Context is key when reading the Bible. Words can have different meanings. Just like when Paul said, "I can do all things through Christ...". Obviously "all things" here doesn't include evil. Otherwise, he would be saying he can do evil through Christ. THAT would be blasphemy!

In fact most people don't know that rainbows actually feed off of water and it's not that they drink water, but most likely it's their reflection making it seem like they love water.

No doubt heterosexuals protecting their own sins' exposure prefer the "gay" version, but it does not stand up to scrutiny in the light of researched Hebrew grammar used in the story.
