My guess is either this was intentional to make the character “quirky” or the audio file corrupted and the VA didn’t want to come back so they had to mess with it until it sounded like something

No, according to the voice actress, Debra Wilson, the grandma was supposed to sound like that and she did all that herself. She can still do it today.

Crazy part, they got him to voice AGAIN in the animated dinosaur movie...

I strongly second this. Although the christmas story 2 one is kinda a sequel to the princess diaries 2 video. Shame he hasn't watched that one yet. Probably not that big of a deal though from what I remember.

That film made it onto my worst movies of 2012 list. That film was anything but charming, The mean spirited tone nearly made the thing utterly unwatchable. The film basically took a joyous holiday and pissed all over it. The whole film was about as joyful as watching your Christmas tree catch fire, something that I do not want. I hated that film so much, I gave it 0 stars.

I am not kidding. Search for Santa Paws not only ranks as my worst Christmas film ever, but may as well be the worst film I have ever seen! Period! Wtf Disney?! Did you forget what Christmas was about?! It's supposed to make you feel happy, not down on your luck and wanting to die! Screw you Disney! And Screw! That! Movie!

@@billyweed835 Yeah. I mean, I don't even think TFA or TLJ are bad movies, they just don't work in conjunction with each other or the franchise's framework. On their own merits, they're well-made, well-shot, decently paced, and even SOME (Not all) writing in them works just as a standalone story. They don't work as Star Wars films for varying reasons, and they certainly don't work well together, but on their own merits they're "fine". Only TRoS is actually a bad film on its own merits.

I find that second story far more believable.

As someone that’s had many audio file corrupt in the past, that specific type of audio sounds like a corruption to me
