Hey, Duck, I still think you should watch the Critic review both the Mask and Son of the Mask. The first is pretty much a bona fide classic and the other is half-cgi nightmare fuel.

The Dr. Suess movie-adaptations run the gamut of bad-movies. The 2000 Grinch was bad, but interestingly bad The 2003 Cat in the Hat is insultingly bad and obscenely unfunny. It's just Mike Myers bombing at stand-up for an hour-and-a-half. Horton Hears a Who and the 2018 Grinch were competent but bland and unmemorable. The Lorax was insultingly bad by completely screwing up the source-material

I honestly love Jim Carey's Grinch and the Cat in the Hat,they have more Heart and Soul than Illumination Entertainment's the Lorax and the Grinch,the worst Dr.Seuss Movies ever made.

Yes, you should react to the Nostalgia Critic review of Son of the Mask. But not the actual movie. It's terrible. One of the worst movies ever made, which is made even worse because it's the sequel to one of my favorite movies ever made. You could also do another one of his reviews on movies based off of Dr Seuss books.

You should DEFINITELY check out NC's review of Catwoman, considered one of the worst big-budget action movies of all time. Critic even makes fun of a specific line in the movie at various points throughout the review.

Fun fact: This was so bad Seuss Estate said no more live action because of this. The sequel was eventually cancelled.

I remember when I saw The Cat In The Hat my basic response was something to the effect of "That was one of the worst films ever made... and it totally got robbed for the Best Set Design Oscar." I love it's aesthetic and just truly wish there was a better movie to go with it. I definitely recommend watching The Lorax. I'm not sure if his video on it includes the comparison with the earlier 2d animated version or not, I think he was the one that did that but it's been a very long time. My feelings on that movie are complicated. I like it a lot as a standalone film, but it's a really bad adaptation in a lot of ways. Also I'd recommend checking out some of the cut songs from it afterwards if you do. "Biggering" is genuinely amazing and the original version of "Thneedville" hints that the original plans for the movie seem pretty different then what ended up happening. I know someone even did an animatic of what a possible sequence for Biggering might have looked like that was really cool.

You should watch the first viewing that they do its hilarious to see movies such as the Nutcracker 3D where they have no idea whats coming. That and the get wasted in some of them so it makes it even more entertaining.

I think it's great because its so bad. It's dumb humor that's quotable. His film was the birth of me using jokes ironically as a kid. Especially the "honey it was ruined..." and the "I dont use the d word because I find it really really wrong" It's like any 90s/00s adam sandler film, perfect for kids in the worst way which is why i watched them over and over on the vhs

Garbage Pail Kids, Son of the Mask, and Biodome are the reviews I would recommend. They are my personal favorites of his. The best of the worst!
