Tony is the reason Bruce starts to come out of his shell, everyone else treats him as a time bomb ready to explode, whereas Tony teases him and says he needs to get out more. Natasha's and Bruce's relationship also helped. I like how they were already telling us what the stones were made out of setting up for the Hulk in Endgame.

The scenes with Bruce Banner and Tony Stark interacting with each other were my favourites of the entire movie, i loved the way everyone has to tip toe around Banner because they know how dangerous he is when he's the Hulk but you can see that it doesn't bother Stark at all 0:33 😂😂 It's almost like he finds it amusing that this very uptight shy scientist can be a giant raging monster. I think out of all the members of the Avengers, Tony keeps Bruce grounded and actually makes him feel at ease and comfortable in his own skin, their science bromance is one of the best things i love about the MCU.

I remember when I saw this in theaters everyone in the theater yelled "NO" when Tony shocked Bruce 😂

The way Tony says “funny things are” to Cap feel so sincere and meant that I feel like Downey Jr. just improvised that bit (as I remember reading once he did alot in this movie).

Truth is, Tony's combination of character traits and banter was perfect for both Bruce and Hulk to find a quick but deep friendship in him. This scene is the perfect example of him stimulating friendships with both of Dr Banner's personas.

Honestly, I wouldn’t mind if Marvel made a sitcom of Bruce & Tony making inventions and going on adventures.

Tony was the only one to NOT treat Bruce like a threat. Steve stepping in doesn't really help his goal of being treated normally, but then again, the Hulk can probably tear that ship apart.

I don't think much people understand why Tony poked Bruce before actually starting to work with him in a lab or why Tony wanted Bruce to turn into the Hulk. Bruce wasn't a time bomb, he was a bomb that would explode if you push the right buttons. Knowing which buttons to push and avoid them is a lot safer than not pushing anything and hoping no one else does either or push some buttons and hoping it wasn't the wrong one. Knowing how much I'd would take Bruce to turn into Hulk would be safe. There are safer places to test that but working with Bruce in a lab were accidents happen and not knowing if it could trigger the Hulk would be stupid. Tony tested Bruce because he needed to know how to react in case of an accident. He played it of sure but Tony was smart. Really smart. And yeah sure he wanted to see Hulk but he also wanted to know how far he can go and what he should avoid. That's what scientists do.

This scene saves tony's live. He was the first person who accepted the hulk and wasnt scared of him. The hulk like him from that moment and saved his life later

This is a good scene to showcase Tony and Bruce’s friendship. At the time most people just saw Bruce as the Hulk, almost like a giant shook bottle of soda that could explode at any moment. So everyone treated Bruce like they had to tiptoe around him. But Tony, he treated Bruce like a normal human being. And Tony is not even afraid of the Hulk, he loves that about Bruce. Also, Bruce seem to enjoy Tony pranking him. With all the circumstances, plus adding the fact that they both have a love of science, that is a genuine friendship.

Of note earlier is the first thing Tony mentions to Bruce is his appreciation of his intellect and only mentions the Hulk as an aside and a joke. A recurring theme of most Hulk appearances is not just being treated like a monster, but also not as a human being, and not just a human being but a smart one that people forget is a brilliant scientist.

They're the A-squad version of Fitz-Simmons. Tony is a super-genius with tech and physics, and has a sizeable knowledge of biology, at least as it interacts with tech (just like Fitz). Bruce is the super-genius first with biology, but has a staggering ability in tech and physics as well (just like Simmons).
