Honestly I absolutely love the competence Tony shows in this scene. Walks in, quips on Thor, takes a jab at Fury, doesn't even acknowledge Cap, plants a bug to start hacking SHIELD, delivers the iconic Galaga line, and then just starts talking science with Bruce right away. What a man, honestly.

Misdirection tactic. Every agent in the room has their eyes on him, since he’s commanding the floor, yet they’re so preoccupied with him being a sarcastic ass that not ONE of them notices him place a tracking device on the side of a computer in plain sight. Hill didn’t notice, Natasha didn’t notice, NOBODY noticed because they weren’t paying attention to his actions - just his behavior.

I know this is late and a throw away, but Tony is continuing a dialogue pepper opened with coulson at 1:10. When phil goes to recruit Tony and offers a ride to pepper, pepper asks coulson about a girl he likes who plays the cello and phil responds she moved to Portland. Tony likes phil so he offers him a chance to vacation in Portland to clear his head. Lol this is back when Stan was alive and his property was in good hands; I miss when MCU was good 😢.

Many failing to realize the reason Fury quickly dismisses Cap’s equation of the Tesseract with Red Skull’s HYDRA weapons is because Fury had been stockpiling those very weapons and doesn’t want Cap reminding anyone of their existence.

"Two of the sharpest men I know" Why does no one talk about that line?! Fury is putting Clint Barton and Selvig on the SAME LEVEL. He recognizes that Clint is one of the smartest men he knows!!!! WHY DON'T WE TALK ABOUT THAT LINE????

'Sharp' doesn't necessarily mean only 'smart'. He could also mean very alert or resourcesful, both of which Barton is.
