When Wes talked about his parents possibly naming him "Water" but explained that he wasn't sure because it was strange and said with an accent, that really hit a spot inside me. I think a lot of kids with immigrant parents run into these types of problems. It reminded me of times when I felt like I couldn't fit in with other kids because my parents or upbringing were different. And then as I think back on how I wished that my parents would just be normal like other parents, I feel like I don't honor my parents enough because they actually put in a lot of effort to raise me well despite the obstacles in language and culture. Sigh. On a lighter note, I also don't have a middle name! High five, bruh.

I just came here to say that while I am happy that you will be able to continue your "Single By 30" series, and I understand why you would want to put it on youtube red, but as someone who can't really afford a $10/month subscription (not much money, I know, but sometimes money is super tight) I am disappointed that I will most likely not be able to view it. This is in no way a hate comment. I love the work that you as a company do and I realize that it takes a lot of hard work and you deserve to get compensation for it, but it is yet another thing I will be sad to miss out on. Where I live we just have two (or sometimes even three) names, but they are not specifically middle names or something. You just have more than one name and in forms you write them both in name field. So I always get confused whenever there is asked name, middle name and last name because I don't consider my second name my middle name. And I end up writing them both in one field.

I like the Korean reading of Phil's Chinese name: Jinsang :) Ted's Chinese name in Korean is Daeseong. Wes's is Deokui, I think. I'm not sure how to pronounce that. ^^;

My dad wanted to name me after my grandmother "Daría", but thank god my mom said no... i think Dary Elizabeth is nice, though i mostly use Dary, it is kinda annoying for me having a middle name 'cause in Mexico for legal stuff we have to use our full name which means we have to put our name, middle name, last name (which is our father's) and mother's last name.
