It’s always so frustrating to me when monsters get away and continue their crimes for way longer than they otherwise would because adults response to kids straight up TELLING THEM about SUPER CONCERNING behavior is “stop lying.” Like maybe stop automatically assuming kids are lying about stuff like this?
@@AbsyntheAndTears Well said!!! I keep my kids as close to me as I can...I ask about their days and we discuss what is going on. Kids need to know their parents have their backs and love them unconditionally. Mine were abused by a former spouse so this is very relevant to me and I'm adamant about being their defender and being available for them.
To the one story with the laundry mat, I was also a child who didn’t know how to voice what was happening to her mom. I told my mom she should divorce her husband one time in the car as a kid. She asked me why and I was too scared to tell her he did things to me. I wish she would have really heared me. Good news is I “graduated” yesterday from my long term exposure treatment. It’s been such a long painful journey confronting my past and healing from all my childhood trauma but I finally reached the other side. I’m free from that awful man. Free from my abusive mom. And now I’m not only physically free but also psychologically free as well. Sorry for rambling. I just feel so happy finally being healed. And right in time for my birthday! It actually feels good being alive ❤️
You did nothing wrong by writing your comment, your apology is unnecessary 🥺❤. I'm happy that you feeling better, you deserve every happiness. I wish I could send 1000 hornets to sting that monster under his eyelids for what he did to you. I'm happy you're alive! I hope all the best for you. May you thrive forever ❤
Parents like the one in the laundry mat story really piss me off, not only did she not believe her kid, she left her kids with this complete stranger!? Wtf is wrong with people? 😒
As parents it’s important to make sure our kids have the correct words to describe and the confidence to do so too. As a mother if I took action against everyone my kids described as ‘weird’ or ‘creepy’ or ‘stupid, an idiot, grumpy, horrible, etc’ then 75% of the population would be gone. It’s up to us to make sure they’re able to tell us when something is really wrong.
@@lanabmc3519 Exactly, which is why I always pay attention to who my kids are talking to, I'm very observant and a great judge of character, I've also made it very easy for my kids to talk to me about anything, I feel like this mom failed and was way too trusting with a complete stranger, if she was paying attention whatsoever, she would've noticed a strange man talking to her kids and maybe even heard the vile things he was saying to them.
@@Mr.andMrs.Smith_0420 but life circumstances are different for people. I don’t always pay attention but I don’t live in a place where I really need to. Kids here go out themselves from four or five, make their own way to school or the park or whatever else they want to do. The most important part is being safe, able and confident to be able to speak up. That means talking to your kids about what is right and wrong and using correct language. Sheltering them from the right words isn’t helping yet you still see it
@@lanabmc3519 I never said anything about sheltering them, but I definitely would never let my kids go out at 4 or 5 by themselves lol, that's WAY too young, I don't know where you live but around here that's a terrible idea, honestly I don't think it matters where you live, creeps and pedos can live anywhere, that's a very naive way of thinking, call it paranoia or maybe living around here has my guard up 24/7, but I'd rather be safe than sorry 🤷♀️
I HATE parents who don’t believe their children! There are certain kinds of lies children simply do not tell (unless an adult teaches them to). Children are not going to lie about the sėxual interest of adults. They don’t even understand it. They’ll lie about sneaking snacks that they’re not supposed to eat, not some old(er) man commenting on their body. SMDH And I hate stupid parents who entrust their children to strangers. I hate parents who try to instill an ignorant assumption of innocence of everyone. They’re not protecting their children. It angers me. It is literally their job and they’re failing.
So totally agree with you. They shouldn't be allowed to be parents at all. I'd rather be thought of as "Jesus, here comes THAT bitch again" when it comes to confronting people about my kids (and I am!!) than be some passive ass mom. Your kids depend on you. Gah it makes me angry!
I'd be pissed at my parents over the Mr.Herbert thing! Like if my best friend went missing and I said the neighbor gave me bad vibes and was following us and making uncomfortable comments and my parents just brushed me off. Then years later that dude was arrested for being a serial killer? Maybe they wouldn't have been able to save Henrietta, but if they'd listened to their kid a lot of that creeps victims might still be alive 😒
I was just agog...who DOES that??? Why are parents so dismissive these days anyway. First off, my teenagers don't go roaming around alone and without a way to contact me or me knowing who they are with and secondly, I would have hired a PI or fucking Sherlocked that dude for real myself had one of my babies been missing. Just wth? I would have likely eventually snapped and broken into his house and held him at gunpoint and asked about my kid. I know me.
@@maevependragon Seems like it was a story told by someone who's currently an adult. So I'm guessing they grew up in the 80s or earlier. Where parents were just like "ok have fun. Don't get killed!" And then we wonder why there were massive amounts of serial killers in the 70s and 80s 🤣🤣 Everyone just hung out willy nilly and there was no way to know if anyone was missing until it was like hrs and hrs later.
@@nom-nomnami1743 Yeah...I was an 80s kid and we DID have free rein to go out and just do stuff. I mostly rode my bike or my horse but someone tried to pick up my little brother once and it was really scary. Parenting has come a long way from that. Mine will go out with friends but they have a way to contact me and I know who they are with. And mine are teens!!
UNIT 522 read out a horrific story from a guy who (when he was a child) saw 2 children being lured into a van at a shopping mall. He knew about stranger danger and was trying to explain it to his mother what was happening, but she just nodded as she looked at clothes saying 'That's right, never talk to strangers, good boy'. Days later he saw on the news the two boys (2 brothers) who had gone missing. Again he pointed out to his mother and tried to explain, but she just nodded and was barely listening. Parents. Sometimes I'm amazed at their stupidity.
I think Lena and her husband need to team up and write horror movie scripts. All she has to do is sleep and then all he has to do is have a conversation with her while she's sleeping and write it down lol it definitely see at least one movie spawned from just her talking in her sleep. Hell, they could probably make a few sequels too! 😂😁
If I wasn’t single I’d think it was my ex talking about my night talking. Even my sister who shared my bed once said it would be the last time because I said really mean things 😆
I'll never never understand parents who don't listen when their kids try to tell them about a creepy person or neighbor. Kids aren't idiots, trust their instincts you might save a life.
Story seven really creeped me out. To think this guy has been so fixated on this woman for so long that he even studied her family, biding his time and just thought he could walk into her life. So sick.
So true. There are atheists who are better people than Christians and vice versa. Being Christian doesn't automatically mean you're a good person, especially if you're not living Christ like.
My husband and kids told me I speak in what we later learned was Russian. I don't know Russian. I told them to run and hide "it was coming." I freaked my husband out by whispering "he's behind you." And when I was a child my turd brother would ask me where my gak and money was and I told him every single time.
I sleep talk to. My fiancé should be used to after 5 years but he's not lol. I had to set a rule for my kids not to ask anything while I'm asleep because I never remember.
I don't sleep talk but I do have that same rule with my kids because they'll come in and ask me for things. I kinda half wake, half asleep answer and then don't remember it later. They've gotten so much money from me and walked to the store at ungodly hours... All because they ask me while I'm in this state! Sneaky lil turds they are lol
@@TheMysticRealms I would feel so guilty if I ever did that lol I’d be like ok mom yeah you aren’t even awake Ik when awake you’d never give me money to walk to the store by myself this late 😂and then I’d tell you as soon as you woke up
I don't mean to be insensitive. However, the mother in story number 7 totally enabled that man's behavior by allowing him to freely do whatever he wants even though she didn't want him to. I understand being lonely but he clearly was feeling like she was giving him the green light. I mean he tells her (not ask) that he's coming over, even though she didn't want him to and expressed that, but he still pops up, *and she allows him inside*but she doesn't stop there, she then proceeds to play host with him. Among many other things in that story that she didn't set straight with him... He's a creep for sure, but she enabled his creepiness.
Too many people (especially women) feel the need to be polite. I agree that it sounds like she acquiesced, but it seems likely that he wouldn't take "no" for an answer given that he tries to talk to the daughter for 15 minutes! He is the definition of a 'nice guy'.
It’s not that simple. It could easily be me in a situation like that because I’m terrified of confrontation. She could also be afraid to outright reject him because countless women have been straight up murdered because they rejected a guy.
@@texaskteaoh ya the husband she was married to for 40 years and apparently "absolutely adored her" caused her to let a guy walk all over her and her family
As someone from Harrisonburg, VA. Story two was quite scary. The weirdest part is the “shopping cart killer” was hardly even talked about on local news. Maybe for a couple days then the whole story went completely silent. Probably because our seemingly friendly town would never want to be seen as something it is. Every time I see a shopping cart in odd places, I get a horrified feeling. Stay safe out there.
Same!! I’m from northern va but it was talked about a lottt here. It’s so scary cause they found a body like 15 mins away from where I live which is absolutely terrifying…
For the last story: Your phone most likely picked up on a baby monitor in the area. Sometimes though you can hear both ways. The laughter was probably the parent of one of the baby monitors who knew you could hear them and decided to scare you. And hey, I 100% believe in and have experienced the paranormal. But sometimes the most logical explanations are what it is.
That Henrietta story pisses me off. I absolutely hate parents who don't believe or make light when their children tell them about some creepy adult who makes them uncomfortable. LISTEN to your children! Their safety can depend on it!
Ugh the shopping cart killer gives me the creeps because he left a few bodies behind a lot next to my house . I passed the motel he once used every single day and always thought it was the kind of place a serial killer would hang out. Little did I know i was right until we saw all the caution tape and heard the news. Moved 2 months ago luckily so I don't pass by there anymore.
I know they mean to respond on reddit but the last one, with the interferences happened to me, only on a baby monitor. I know you can sometimes cross receive other people's monitors. However I was standing in the kitchen when I heard this insane voice, it wasn't distorted from any reception issues but just like in the story, the 'woman' was also wailing and crying and making strange noises that no normal person can make, sometimes really high pitched, then very low. She also kept saying: "Why did you have to leave meeee!" over and over in a kind of ululating way😨. I am used to the supernatural and have seen ghosts etc, without running away, always trying to find a logical answer or make contact. I was at first interested because this was so incredibly weird, but after about 10 min of this, I had to switch it off as the hairs on my neck stood up and I realised there wasn't any logical explanation to this, this wasn't a hoax and it wasn't interference. It actually scared me shtless. The story brought all of it back to me...frigging heck.
To play skeptic, one could electronically distort a voice from a recording and then use that to highjack or play with signals. Still. Creepy that anyone would bother, but we know from this channel that bored, immature, and/or deranged folks exist. Thank you for sharing your experiences.
So in the story with the lesbian couple, why is she basing them being good people because they’re white, middle class, and Christian? None of those things define a person as good or bad.
In the last story getting a cross connection/ interface is very normal. I unintentionally have listened to so many conversations like that. Its sometimes static and not very clear and you do get sounds like it's high pitched screaming or something. Best thing to do is record it and send it to your service provider. They will look into it.
I bet story 4s parents felt like assholes for not believing their daughter about Mr. Herbert. Nice job parents you could've saved the lives of a couple little girls.
You have one if the most smoothe, mellow voices out there!! I am a sucker for the deepest of voices (almost married a guy just because he was an amazing Bass/Baritone! 😅) But truly, thank u for another wonderful video!!
The sleep talking reminds me of my grandma, I used to sleep talk as a kid and when I visited her she would go to my room when I was asleep to listen. One morning she told me I said "Grandma, is that meat?" She thought it was hilarious but I got scared, what was I dreaming?
Agree, if they don't do more to thwart him, such as a restraining order, cameras (and he may very well have already been recording them with that cell phone incident), or her moving -- he will very likely weasle his way back into that woman's life. Her passivity towards his aggressive habits makes her a prime target for whatever his ulterior motives are.
I was checking on my client and walking down a dark staircase to get to him while listening to the story. When I say I was thoroughly creeped out I had to turn the sound all the way down because it was becoming too much. Lol
I listen to you during the day and at night your voice is soothing to me. I use to have to listen to forensic files his voice was soothing to me and put me to sleep but I found your stories and bye bye forensic files.
My youngest sister sleep talks. I sleep laugh. Doesn’t happen often but when it does I wake up full blown laughing my ass off lol My sister on the other hand has night terrors and she screams in her sleep. Like full blow at the top of her lung screams and yells and screams people’s names (mostly our brothers name like he did something wrong or family names) and sometimes stranger names. More. I’d rather have talking then full blow screaming at the top of her lungs. She slept with me for years all my younger siblings did. (I’m the oldest n took care of all 4 of my younger siblings) and one night she screamed so loins I jumped out of a dead sleep and she ended up thrashing and kicked me right in the face and giving me one of the worst bloody noses I’ve ever had. (I had random horrible bloody noses as a kid. Until I was 20). And she still has night terrors and tails and screams to this day and she’s now 26. It’s frightening. It’s been over 20 years and I’m still not use to my sisters outbursts she has. Our grandma use to sleep talk and sleep walk. My niece sleep talks a lot and sleep walks. When she comes over I legit have to pile stuff in front of my door cause one time she legit tried opening it and walking out and my daughter came and got me just in the right time. She kept saying she needed to go by her mom (my sister who was across the street at my moms house) to get her meds. Lol. She still sleep walks and talks to this day.
You said you were going use the multiverse line as your closer...lol. That last story is possibly from interference from another phone signal or baby monitor.
I personally enjoyed this channel more when it was actual stories that made your imagination expand...the new style of descriptions of horrible torture and deviant sexual description content has me wanting to unsub. Hopefully the channel hasnt changed for the worse.
Never been this early!!! Great bed time stories.. This was the first channel I listened to!!!! Let's not meet etc!!!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤Love it!!!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️Love to all
I was LIVID hearing the lady telling the story about her best friend's disappearance and her parents telling her to "stop telling stories." Of course. Let's endanger our kids, our neighbors' kids, strangers, because God forbid, we're EMBARRASSED that our kids are trying to point out someone that gave them really bad vibes. Maybe if she had been allowed to speak more, maybe have the police ask questions that might have helped her remember more things, the man MAY have been caught earlier. I get it - we shouldn't accuse people without reason, but often, kids can get the creeps more than adults, who have learned to rationalize things. At least, let the kid talk to the police and see if there's anything to it. Not saying the kid should go and yell out, in the middle of the neighborhood "THERE HE IS!! HE'S THE MONSTER!!" But at least let her talk. Same with the laundromat. The poor lady was traumatized. I mean, she won't go into a LAUNDROMAT even after growing up.
I doubt story 3 is real. You find absolutely nothing on the internet about Mr. Herbert or Henrietta. If Mr. Herbert was a serial child killer you would find at least something. And if her remains were found 24 years later, you wouldn't have been able to determine if she had been abused before her death I guess, at least if Mr. Herbert didn't confess to that. There are also to much parallels to the "Lovely Bones" movie. I'm sorry if I'm wrong but to me it sounds fictional.
I cannot understand how so many parents don't listen to their children. I have four children aged 7 to 15 and we talk about anything and everything. I hope they know I'd never be like the parents in these stories! I certainly tell them often enough that I'll always have their backs, I just hope they believe me...
I didn't know you could speak during night terrors. My youngest daughter used to get them for 6 months and she would wake up screaming for some period of time before falling back asleep.
@@darkangelprincess101 I've asked my psych professor and he said it's not common. I will usually scream whatever it is I'm having a bad dream about and thrash, according to my husband. It is really unnerving for my family. I am so sorry for your daughter. I had a sleep walker when my youngest was a toddler and that was creepy enough!
If people believe in God, why would they think God is stupid? God will know the difference between willful sin and true remorse. If you’re truly sorry, you’re not going to keep sinning knowing you’re doing wrong. Because God will see it all and “know your heart.” A lot of people hiding behind religion are gonna find themselves burning in hell.
I don't understand parents that brush off their kids' concerns about people. Yes kids have a big imagination, but when they are scared or worried that's something else!
I talk/laugh in my sleep… one time I started laughing and my brother asked me what I was laughing about and apparently I replied with “the monster! It’s eating people!” in between bouts of laughter.
lol The sleep talking doesn't creep me out; it WOULD if I were there with a sleep talker, but I sleep talk sometimes and it means nothing. Occasionally I will have mild sleep paralysis and be trying to signal to someone to wake me up and my voice will come out as someone that sounds demonically possessed. It bothers my husband for some reason. XD
I live in Florida and golf carts are not just for golf courses down here ... However, their average top speed without modifications is 12-14 miles per hour A young girl, who runs regularly, fueled by fear adrenaline, could probably out run a golf cart, if not, she could probably zig and zag in her running course and escape a golf cart chasing her at it's top speed of 14 miles per hour...... Not dismissing her rear, because I am female too....I just imagine this story was written by someone who doesn't know golf carts
The last story, could have been what we used to call a crossed line on landline telephones. Occasionally I'd hear other conversations between people. They usually couldn't hear me and my call would not be connected. The simpe cure was to hang up and redial. In the early days of my owning a cellphone I'd get prank calls late at night, usually the sound of a toilet fluahing or fart noises. I've not heard of a crossed line with a cell phone but I don't use whatsapp either, so who knows if it's glitchy?
When I was younger my sibling and I had a pair of walkie talkies and we would always be able to pick up other people’s phone conversations. It was typical to do that with the early cordless phones. That could be what was happening to the guy in the last story. Just some other device causing an interference.
So many male creeps and some stalking underage girls. WTF! We need to teach our kids and women in our lives how to maim these predators. Easy to spot and less capable of attacking and provide them with legal, age appropriate weapons until this behavior is eliminated.
What a horrible situation with the “snake in the grass”! I was a victim advocate, so I’m not saying this should have occurred to them, but I wouldn’t have left town without a restraining order signed. I hate fake stories, but I still hope this didn’t happen to a real person.
