This officer knew who she was and knew the consequences of this entire scene. She probably has done this many times in the past and have treated many other officials who she feels are under her this way but have gotten away with it. Glad it has finally came down to this 👍. She should have known better, officer has a camera on him. I can see her continuing with her job with just the apology.

Calling the Chief and if the Chief said anything other than cite or arrest if appropriate he could be charged class C felony in my jurisdiction!As well as her! No excuse should resign! Read the book “Throw Them All Out” by Peter Schweizer. It’s a little dated, but it details the “insider trading” activities by our politicians and it was all totally legal. And both sides of the aisle do it.

Had she complied with the officer's order for her to pull over, she would have probably got off with a warning. Police officers have that discretion (for the people who will say that's wrong). However, she is an example of what sometimes goes wrong with public officials. Many elected or appointed officials get that feeling of supremacy and invincibility that comes with having that position, this creates the 'how dare you' mentality. This is why so many of us were happy to retire from police work, you're constantly stepping over land mines and worrying if your livelihood will be flushed down the drain because that person who is breaking the law has more juice than you. It's a harsh reality of wearing the shield. I'm sure the officer wanted to handcuff and secure her but (depending on the political flavor) he might be making a career choice. You and I both have seen how these things can turn into a nightmare if the politics go wrong. It's sad that this woman is a prosecutor and displays this level of contempt for the law. Yes, she should resign, I'm sure she would have no problems getting another high-paying job, maybe for a legal defense firm.

LOL. got pulled over daily in my town till they all realized my dad was the local muffler shop owner. First, they profiled me. Second they treated me different because they knew my dad. It’s foolish to think who you are doesn’t matter in a traffic stop but this person is out of her mind.

@@GreenyTravels also, I’ve refereed over 25k hockey games. I have a lot of cop buddies and I also have a lot of experience with cops. The most crazy adult hockey used to be cop leagues. I say USA because no rink would have a cop league now because of the drama it brings. The biggest shit show. Games ever are games full of cops. Haha. I got stories. One as a hockey director I was literally knocked out by a cop who was called a clown by another cop so he took his cooper helmet off and threw it at the player and the helmet hit me on the back of the head. I woke up seconds later in a push-up position while both teams were semi fighting above me. lol. Ask me when I ever saw a player throw a helmet in 25000 plus other games? Never.

Go figure, they want to put DJT on trial for "alleged" crimes, and these self entitled officials demand a PASS. This person needs to be suspended without pay...pending a trial, a trial that will happen in 10 years! Greeny, I realize that you were probably a good officer. Releasing this video to the public seems to be a real stretch maybe to force her to resign from her job. This is entirely unacceptable in my mind. She is a district attorney who life is in constant stress with all types of threats. The police officer was wrong in my opinion. He should realize that this infraction was very minor and she explained the situation. I am not a fan of privileged people, but this went entirely overboard. He may be working with people to try and remove her from her position. I totally disagree with your assessment. I know the dirty side of the police, and it does not compare to the infraction and the situation after she showed her id. I wish that he would be put on suspension because something is not right in this whole video. I think that you have possibly been duped. Have a great day!

The world is not so clean as you imagine it to be. My guess is that he already knew her identity which makes him possibly complicit in a crime or targeting her. I have been stopped for various bogus reasons in my life. I always pulled over, but half of the time it was just to meet a quota. I just listen politely because most police officers I find have some issues. I remember once being in a car as a passenger and the driver had out of state tags. The officer told the driver that he was speeding and it was entirely untrue. I even took a day off to testify. The judges answer was why would he lie. The reason seemed very simple, but I never talk back to a judge once I know that he has a closed mind, Once I was stopped in Florida for no reason whatsoever. When the officer realized that I was 400 meters from my home everything was fine. You live on the side of morality where judgements are very easy to make. I know quite a few police officers who were doing illegal things far worse than a 20 mph speeding. You cannot change because it is too late in life, but try to change and see the big picture. You see the world full of criminals and privileged people. Maybe she is privileged, but I do not want her job or the job of most police officers. I just do not see law enforcement officers as saints and this was a minor infraction turned into a Karen crime. At one time in life I would have agreed with you, but this whole video does not seem right.

You are right, all she had to do was pull over and be civil to the officer, he would have said have a nice day and be done! She is immune in this town anyway, cops know her car, and stay away! The calls to Chief? This cop was a rookie and wasn't informed of the policy, she expected him to just back off when he found out it was the Queen! Looked tipsy to me and she was hiding something in the house, too bad he didn't cuff her before she got rid of it! These people make me sick, they don't know how good they have it!
