If we get a legends Kyurem game I think it would be cool to have hilbert/hilda be the protagonist. After being champion and on their quest to find N, an anomaly happens on Route 10 and they get transported to the past and don’t have any of their Pokémon or a way back. That would explain why they went missing in b2w2 and allow an original protagonist to have another story that involves learning more about unovas past and seeing the original dragon.

I think Unova should get new sequels set after B2W2. It's always great to see entirely new stories taking place in an already established region because that would make the games more unique and stand out on their own. Same thing with Sinnoh, I would like to see sequels taking place after Pokémon Platinum with an entirely new story and different features and additions, to stand out from the original Sinnoh games.

Definitely can call this the BEST TrueGreen7 video! Loved the detailed dive into all the real world locations that inspired Unova, how they could be incorporated into different Unova games and the banter between you and Toby was hilarious!! Outstanding job on this one!!

I would love to get a Legends Kyurem game because there's just so much history to explore. Obviously there's the original dragon and the war between the two brothers, but there's so much more beyond that: Reversal Mountain, Abyssal Ruins, Relic Castle, the Swords of Justice saving Pokemon from a forest fire, Abundant Shrine and Volcarona saving the region from a volcanic winter by replacing the sun.

Another location I wanna see in Gen 5 remakes is... Blueberry Academy. Make it so that from Castelia City we can take a ferry or fly to Blueberry Academy. In BW2 you flew to the Nature Preserve when you completed the Pokédex, and since there is an entire area in the Terarium that is an exact copy of the Nature Preserve (a neat tease for a Gen 5 remake), then maybe in the remakes Prof. Juniper takes you to Blueberry Academy once you complete the Pokédex, allowing to catch even more Pokémon especially Paldean ones. You can meet Cyrano. And if it is a remake of BW or BW2, this would mean it takes place BEFORE Scarlet and Violet, so we wouldn't see the Elite 4 or Kieran and Carmine there, but other characters. This would be an amazing way of connecting SV with Gen 5 even more! If there's no Blueberry Academy, then I at least want references to it, maybe in the Marine Tube you'd have someone or a board talking about how the company that built the Marine Tube is also "building an unerwater school for strong Pokémon trainers and artificial biomes" or something like that. I would scream if that were to ever happen.

Honestly the one thing a Unova sequel definitely need is a battle subway fast travel. It can be an excellent substitute for Fly since most areas are accessible by MTA and NJ transit

Hear me out, a legends game for B/W with a regional Blaziken based on a desparado with a cowboy hat integrated into it's design. Instead of Blaze Kick it get's a new move called Blaze Shot where it does fingerguns to shoot bolts of fire.

Unova is... a tricky region to do anything with other than a more classic-style remake. A prequel is hard lorewise, since, just how Legends Arceus didn't exactly follow real life history by having the Diamond and Pearl clans, representations of the Ainu people, be more recent arrivals to the region just a few hundred years before our expidition, while the actual natives of Sinnoh are more Greek-inspired and mostly seem to have migrated away, in the case of Unova, we know that all the lore about the Original Dragon, its split and the Legendary Pokemons revival take place like 2500 years ago, implying that there was no further "settlement", or at least not in a larger style, like there was in real life New York. Meanwhile a Legends-game would pretty much have to take place at a time when there were Pokeballs, which we know through Drayden only happened in his lifetime in Unova, considering he's still alive and kicking at the current point of SV, that'd put that about 60 or 70 years before the events of BW, or in real life years around the time of the end of WW2, the late 50s into the 60s. At that point most of Unovas settlements should've already started taking the shape of what they were in BW... which would obviously make for quite a different "Legends"-experience than what Legends Arceus offered, with its 3 settlements and 2 of those being just a few huts. It'd also be quite hard to include a grand storyline about Kyurem/the Original Dragon in there, since obviously people would then have remembered it by the time of BW/2, so that could at best be a side/postgame-story like the Giratina-fight in Legends Arceus, while the main game would be about something else, so... no Legends "Kyurem". Meanwhile a problem that more "radical" remakes or a sequel would face is... current Pokemon is Open World... but having a COMPLETELY open world in what we know of or an even more settled Unova would be difficult, there's a reason there are no highways in Paldea, because they'd get in the way of free exploration for the player, meanwhile Unova ALREADY has shown that there are highways that are seeing a lot of use, and if a sequel were to expand on that... it'd be very hard to have an Open World the same way SV or even Legends Arceus had, basically those'd be forced to return to something more like Sun and Moon, or Sword and Shield with their limited Open Areas. Although I feel they could still implement SVs non-linear progression through the region... through trains, similar to Galar, but giving you the option to go anywhere throughout the region almost from the start. But especially for a sequel, I feel it'd be difficult to get closer to what real life New York is supposed to be, while still striking a balance with nature which you can explore and where you can run into wild Pokemon.

Accumula should have a college added to it in a Sequel. As Brooklyn College is is the area that you and Toby went to. And hey, maybe a version of the Triangle Junction could be added due to how it's close to the College. Plus a store where you can buy customization stuff for your Rotom Phone would be a nice reference to either AT&T or T-Mobile due to how they're at the Triangle Junction. The former being on Flatbush avenue.

I would eat a shoe out of excitement if a Unova prequel came out. A sequel with a near completely different design would be cool too.

It’s videos like these that somehow still give me hope for Pokémon and Gen 5 in particular; I can only hope these ideas make their way for the devs to see, but that’s wishful thinking. 😅 Also, I gotta say, I love those little skits; they add a lot to contextualize the different areas and their unique qualities(even if they’re just *normal* ). 😆

Out of all the Pokémon - related I've watched over the years, I've never seen anything more inspiring and educationally intriguing until now! As born raised New Yorker/Unovan, getting to see the sights/locales that make up our great Unova Region was an experience all in itself (hell, I didn't know that some parts were conjoined with Jersey?! Along with not realizing that Nimbasa takes far more inspo from Time Square than Castellia does; like the Pokémon Theater should've been the click in my brain for Broadway Musicals =w=)! And as much as I want to see the history of Unova, decades into the past, I feel like now more than ever we deserve/need a new entry to the saga. Not only to act as an time skipped epilogue of how Unova been up to (Blueberries have not satiated my hunger for closure, along with many others) but to create a modern day story based on modern day New York/Jersey. We all know Pokémon for it's peacefully adventurous imagery of the real world (unlike SOME competitors 😒), but when Game Freak pulls out a story with intense/dark themes you know shit is going down, that what got me hooked to this generational saga in the franchise to begin with. I think Game Freak has the power... to talk about sensitive topics whilst giving us an uplifting message thru their storytelling, and with the recent release of ScarVi, it shows their still capable of such a feat! So bring on the new and improved Unova, with new locales, shops, gym challenges, faces, foes (whether reconstructing the old or whipping something new) and Pokémon (Mythicals/Variants) cuz chile... I've been waiting for 10+ yes after BW2 for this very moment to arrive. Let a new chapter in the story of the Original Dragon: COMMENCE! (As for remakes... either add them in later as DLC for BW3 or just give us a recap feature like Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy and any other JRPG so fans can catch up where we left off. Plus, there always RU-vid and "doing your part 🏴‍☠️" 👀)

Hey, what about Pokewood Studios? I feel like it would be interesting to see its humble beginnings in a prequel and a more improved evolution of it in a sequel.

Legends game imo, & it should tell the story of the Original Dragon & give us the chance to finally catch or at least face it in a boss fight, that’s just my opinion tho

If Unova was ever to get a remake or sequel I would like to see to see areas based on Western New York. Although places like Buffalo and Rochester are not as big as NYC you could get a lot of inspiration from places like Niagara Falls, Old Fort Niagara, The Catskill Mountains, The Finger Lakes, and the multiple State Parks.

This video could of simply been "visiting all the towns in unova in real life" but you went ahead and went even further, this is such an incredible watch, thank you for the work you put in, quality entertainment and a great watch before the nintendo direct You had some great ideas! including the dream yard as your main base would be really unexpected and quite exciting. I knew Unova was mostly northern US but i didn't realize it was really mostly just New York and New Jersey. I feel like theoretically, we could get a whole region for every US state (or tristate/fourstate area anyways) since Unova is mostly New York and New Jersey and Alola is just Hawaii. I've been working on designs for a region based on the midsouth where I've lived my whole life. It would be cool if i could actually make my own fangame, but i probably can't.

If they wanted to make Unova bigger (again), a manmade peninsula south of Accumula would be a great way to make Long Island. Long Beach, Montauk, etc., all would make great areas!

i feel like there're two best times to make a legends kyurem, being either when ny changed from dutch to british control, or near the civil war. i'd say the splitting of the country (or maybe the region for better storytelling) would work well to facilitate the original dragon's split

Hey, I am from Syracuse NY... and I used to regularly visit Binghamton on the weekends when I worked at my previous job. I drive further for conventions I don't even feel the need to request vacation days to attend. Yeah, it's "Upstate", but I consider it more within the "Central" NY scope.

For the longest time, I kept saying, as great as the region is, it’s unnecessary to remake given 2 and White 2’s success, its long-time staying power, and the fear it would be BDSP again (ICLA deserved a far more substantial amount of time). But then Legends: Arceus happened, so it got some of us thinking of a prequel instead. Who knows? We saw Ingo in Arceus and Emmet was only referred to, so we could see Emmet in a Legends style Unova game. Maybe the ancestors of Ghetsis, N, and the catalysts for Team Plasma, more ancestors to the gym leaders since characters in the Indigo Disk are direct descendants of those gym leaders. But in the end, I wouldn’t mind a sequel either that builds off of an already amazing story since the characters in Unova are some of the best. Maybe provide the option to play as Hilbert, Hilda, Nate, and Rosa. Bring back the triple rotation battles, give better acknowledgment to Pokemon like Maractus (so cute), Unfezant (make it less bland), Zebstrika (I’m like Mikey, make it a pegasus). Gamefreak just better not rush it out the gates, but with a supposed direct next month, they probably would)

My thought is remake combined the two games together. Main game be B&W1 story but set up Colress and a separate faction of Plasma loyal to Getsis. Then post game do an abridged version of B&W2 story.

Like a true New Yorker, I love pointing at streets I recognize in movies and talking about stores or restaurants that used to be there but aren't anymore (RIP the Wendy's on Queens Boulevard that was in Coming to America and got bulldozed in 2013 for luxury condos). Unova remakes with a full 3d camera would be absolutely insane for this and take my street recognizing abilities to the next level.

In a prequel I'd imagine things would be built up a bit more than described in this video. I could actually see Nimbasa as the "home city" like Jubilife in Arceus. Imagine Gear Station as the fast travel port that allows you to ride trains to other towns around the map.

My dream black and white remake would be for us to go through the story of BW1 and once you beat the elite 4 and become champion, after the credits it’ll say 2 years later and you play a modified version of the BW2 story but as the same character. The second time going through gyms would be like “champion is seeing if the gyms still pose a challenge”

As a New Yorker I love everything about this video. Hopefully for a B/W sequel they can expand Nuvema town to include a Verrazano bridge to Staten Island since both Staten Island and Bronx are two boroughs I would’ve loved to get added to Unova.

A Legends like game but set in the future

I just went on a vacation to New York city for a school trip last week, so it's cool to see the representation of IRL new york vs Unova new york.

Honestly with the original Dragon I hope it's not called Kyurem. And with the connection of the Unovan Djinn's to the Kyoto Saint Beasts, I think it would be cool the the OG Unovan Dragon was a 3 headed Gold dragon, 3 heads for the 3 dragons, and Gold to represent the Yellow Dragon of the Center: Haunglong or Fenglong.

I know the logistical reasoning behind why, but more videos should be like this. So well done and hats off to you Ron!

I think in a remake the seasons gimmick would need tweaking a bit. Having it connect to the real world clock could work but then if someone rushes through the game they'd spend most of it in a single season. Either way it always seemed weird to me that I could enter a Pokemon center in one season and leave in a completely different season

I had an idea for one of your 4 artists videos to use a random number generator to determine an existing title (ei #454 would be toxicroak's "Toxic Mouth pokemon"), typing, ability, and stats, and then design a pokemon based around all of it.

Regardless on what type of Gen 5 remake we get, I do personally hope that those games come around during Pokemon Generation 10 as we’ve technically had our Unova Remake with the Indigo Disk and don’t want another BDSP again

The Trainer University is an Awesome Idea. Imagine if you could take a class there and come out with the Clothing styles, Throwing Styles and Titles of the various Trainer NPC's? I mean it would probably cost some money to be enrolled but clothes and throws usually do anyways! Dragon Tamer, Breeder, Swimmer, Biker, Guitarist, Hex Maniac, Scientist, Psychic, etc.

I personally love Black/Black 2 Opelucid for how futuristic it looks, and want to see that on a modern console

Ron you know how Graveler and Machoke gene splice while trading, how those same Pokemon will look if they were trade with other Pokemon?

Honestly if they did Unova in the past, I want it based on 1920's or 1940's (naturally post-war eras), which were interesting times for both the USA and Japan. Technology had shot through the roof due to the wars and fashion/architecture was teetering between traditional and new style. Pollution was starting to get bad, and grimers, trubbish, and koffings would either be evolving into their new poison forms or just coming into existence... However, I doubt another Legends will be allowed to be a main, and the Tenth? Yeah no, they're gonna focus on a new region.

The skits make me feel like I'm looking into an alternate universe where it's just regular everyday life but there's also Pokemon

Gen 5 considering how much of an impact it had on the Fanbase both 4 good and bad despite it being overhated but man a HD2D B3 and W3 would be so cool to see especially the returning Gen 5 Characters getting another glow up! But a Pokemon Legends Kyruem about the past would be awesome to see the Origin of the Original Dragons.
