not all people like sitting down to read. You should offer them audiobooks.. Most classics are boring. if you are trying to get kids to enjoy reading my Tip is to let them pick out whatever they want and do not tell them no

@@SimplyCharlotteMason Yes, I have enjoyed picking out some of your items for our schooling-- I am so thankful for the Picture Study Portfolios. However, your video here is about getting kids to enjoy reading and the truth is not all kids will. And that should be okay and noted. :-)
Unfortunately, my son has read quite a lot of different books, style and authors. And he still says he dislikes reading. It's always a challenge to have him read something. Even comics, which most children like. I get desperate at times.

@@KatV2811 If you stress over things you kids pick up on that. Honestly, you know your child better than anyone. Don't feel like you need to be squished inside a box and never be allowed outside the "rules"... don't stress. Enjoy him for who he is, he may or may not change in regards to this topic later.
