My co-founder and me were working on a project for 2 long years . We are now just 2 weeks away from launching our project and he quit just because i spoke to him about our enquities of 60-40% to be noted on legal documents that we had decided earlier. He was expecting 50-50% but as i was the brain behind the idea i believed i deserved 10% more. However he might have taken this up his ego , messaged me he quit and literally is not bothering to even talk to me. This project was our vision and i really wanted to work together and succedd together.. money was just a biproduct.. vision was my priority. I feel very sad and broken at this point of time. Could you suggest how to deal this better?

I am sorry to hear this. There are too many details I don't know how many years you have been working on this together, but your equity should vest over time. That should set a guide for how much he deserves. It's a legal question at the end of the day. I would engage a lawyer.
