Man Toronto street course really looks like a very technical street course tight turns you have it all

I love seeing this track. I walk on it multiple times a year walking to BMO Field.

It’s bumpy doing 50 kph I couldn’t imagine going that fast through there

Can confirm, Toronto pavement is bumpy 🤪 I used to commute down that straight, because the alternative was too depressing. Without the barriers, you have a pleasant view of Lake Ontario. Where are my manners - have a great race and welcome to Canada!

This track is hasn't changed much in years. It's on my 1999 "Flag to Flag CART" game for the Dreamcast, and other than the fencing on the last couple of corners, and the sponsorship banners, it's the exact same.

I was walking the front straight last weekend.

I got my tickets for Sunday’s Indy car race!

There’s one particular tree on lakeshore Boulevard that gives me a haunting feeling driving by to this day.

Weird question, do you feel indy or f1 cars are more capable than what people can drive them to? Or are drivers really at that 100% of the car limit.

It's a real shame that there aren't any decent mods of quite a few of the tracks used by Indycar. There is a slightly improved, but still quite basic St. Petersburg, but this is a straight port from rFactor 1... There has been work done on a new Toronto, but it's progressing slowly...

I'm not suprised that its bumpy because ive heard that the roads in Toronto are terrible

Tough little track, worries me with so many cars and the lesser drivers could see a lot of yellow flags. Should be at least another 1/2 km longer or maybe 1 full km for more space.

Between now and the race on Sunday, how many more Indycar drivers and F1 drivers are going to be identified as new / potential drivers for McLaren motorsports!?

at the moment it is looking it might rain on race day, hopefully it wont cause any delays to the race considering how hard it can be to see with the spray

They should really move this race to Mosport, it's right down the road and would make for a better race.

Well, I won't get to see it. Ironically, I'm Canadian and aside from some expensive cable TV specialty channels, I have no option to watch my home IndyCar race. It's not airing on NBC because for some reason they don't have the broadcasting rights, and Peacock is not available in Canada. Closest I can get is either to watch an onboard camera on the app while listening to the IndyCar radio broadcast online, or watch the 30 minute highlights a few days later (which is about how much of the actual race is shown between commercial breaks on TV anyway...). I mean, it's just ironic. You'd think, as a Canadian, I would have easier access to my home country's only IndyCar race.

Please behave yourself and get back to a level of driving that inspires fans. You're in danger of losing all of the Goodwill and fan appreciation for you.
