@@VictorTan What I meant was the different approach that you took to explain the difference between the sizes. Your personal takes on what people may be interested in also not pushing people into making it seem like there is a clear right and wrong choice, making it clear that people have different preferences. You made the choice less daunting by giving a more personal perspective compared to what reviewers and even people on forums do. The fact that you didn't follow the same old "follow the sizing chart" or "you should be sitting at the 90-90-90 position" but instead shed light on many different factors like sitting styles, headrest position, BPL etc. Even having another person with a non bias try them both out just to give a different take compared to what you may have had was great. All of it was fresh, fun and extremely informative. Thank you for the video!

That meant a lot to me and I look forward to growing my content and vision in days ahead - this was a hard video for me to make personally because I had to think about what would be the best and most relatable way to incorporate all of this information into something enjoyable and not dry, and it ended up taking a couple of weeks to get the final format right. You’re absolutely right! A lot of guidance does seem to presume that there is a correct seating position or a right fit in every case, but there really isn’t because it depends really on what a person wants - the way I approached this was more of like… Okay, if you want to achieve a specific kind of ergonomic outcome you can, and at the very least just make sure that you can fit into the chair and beware of these simple things that can impede your experience of the chair - you can reference that with the technical documents to be sure and here are some pretty clear demonstrations or thoughts about what will or won’t work that can help you to contextualize the numbers into the actual seating experience that you’re going to have - to help you go in both with the numbers from official documents but also at the same time show or demonstrate to you what to do with them. This is the video I would have wanted to watch before making my chair purchase - didn’t see one though, and I’m honored both that you enjoyed it and to have made it :) Thank you once again for your support!!

Have you tried the 2020 Titan before? This chair is lower than that so if that just nearly fit this one should :) I don’t have experience with akracing but you can see if they have measurements for minimum floor to seat base distance and can compare those to the technical specs linked in the description and also demonstrated in the video :)

Hey Alvin! The minimum height for the R is lower than that of both the Omega and the Titan 2020 and hence I'd recommend getting the R to also suit sitting cross legged! Hope that helps! There’s a minor possibility that you might feel some discomfort if your thighs are too short, but since you spend most of your time in a crossed leg position anyway, it isn’t going to affect you as much as it would affect someone who constantly sits with their legs folded over the seat lip. Hey Heleen! Thanks for watching! I think the R would be okay! If you want a higher chance of suiting the chair though, it’s a bit safer to size down if you have back pain though, as there are ways to sit ergonomically in a smaller chair where all the sizes like your BPL etc fit - neck rest pillow does go a little bit lower as well on the S so you do have a bit of a higher chance of having it slot into the curve of your neck while it’s attached to the magnetic region, though you certainly can use it outside of it. The lumbar support I think works well across both the R and S! The advantage of having the R might be sitting cross legged, but if you don’t anticipate using the chair in that fashion too frequently or extra room isn’t a >>huge

Hey Luka! I'm so sorry I missed this - I'd definitely say that you should consider the Regular Titan! Based on your frame, you seem to be of a pretty slender build, and the Regular would go well with you! You can consider sizing up if you'd like more room, though usually 5'10 is the minimum of that range - if that's what you're going for, do measure your BPL and compare it against the seat depth of the chair that you'd like to buy!

I highly recommend you to get the small size because of the magnetic neck rest will be too high up for the regular - even if it's adjusted to the lowest point where it will still stick. Also, Victor completely ignored the arm rest feature, which shouldn't be overlooked. Secretlab made it adjustable for good reasons. The armrest is where your elbow will rest when you are playing with your phone or does work on the table. It will matter even more when you sit deep into the chair to enjoy the back rest. If you go for the regular, there is a risk that the armrest will be too far apart for your elbow to rest on comfortably when you're playing your phone or resting on the back rest.

Hey grizzly! What you could do is measure your popliteal height on your current chair and compare that to the minimum floor to seatbase distance maybe? If your popliteal height happens to be high enough, you should be able to contact the ground on the lowest setting! Thanks for watching! @@grizzlystr8xl456 for popliteal height, I think you can find any chair in the house and sit down, then take the measuring tape to the floor and measure from the floor to the inner part of your knee. If for some reason you don’t have any other chairs (omg we’re uncovering them human rights violations here 😭😭😭😭😭) you can just measure it while standing. In all cases there’s still going to be a bit of uncertainty, but that’s the road map for not going in blind at least! Hope that helps!

I checked this for you - the base configuration of the armrest is 72cm, and if you unscrew the armrests below and move them inwards (there is space to move the armrests in though you have to unscrew the screws below), they should clock in at 66cm. I know this is a month old, but my boyfriend is 6'1" and around 200 lbs and got the regular size and it's perfect for him with some wiggle room. Not too small or big. He said he probably wouldn't have liked the XL. I'm 5'6' and i also like the regular since I can sit with my legs up

Yup!

Yes you can! It does take a little bit more effort on the Titan than some other chairs though, as you'd have to go down, pull a screwdriver, and loosen the screws below the armrest before moving them inwards. By default, the armrests are on the widest possible setting, but you'll notice that there's a small slot for you to move the armrest inwards so that you can narrow it. Of course, you can also remove the armrest entirely if you wish :)

What is the measurement between inner and outer edges of the arm rests when the screws have been loosened and the armrests are brought in closer?

Probably go with the small if you want certainty of fitting the chair, but honestly R should work perfectly for you and shouldn’t cause any problems coz I think very likely you’re tall enough to fit the chair + regular will allow you to accommodate weird sitting positions. If you can size up go for it dude! If your BPL fits both you can honestly just go for either based on your preference! The XL is also about 50$ difference though so if that’s an issue for you then you might consider sizing down and I don’t think it would be a huge issue, only I think you would have a little less room - the chair will probably still fit you though! I am 5'4 but 250+ lbs. and extremely wide at the hips, I've ordered the XL because the regular will already be too tall for me and my current chair has almost the same proportions as the XL and is a bit too snug for me. The wings on the regular look like they would cause me discomfort, and I also like to sit cross legged, so I went up a size. I'll be back with an update as to how it fits me because I know there's others with a similar dilemma :) (preorder wave supposed to ship this week)
