If anything people on SSD and SSI and such should have gotten it before anyone else!!

The way I look at this,I am grateful we are getting anything. Those of us that do get monthly money hopefully can survive until it arrives. I know how hard it is when you suddenly lose your job.it happened to me two years ago. I didn’t have anything except SS but I got by until now so this stimulus money is something extra I haven’t had until now so I patiently wait for it and I don’t complain . Life has been hard for the past two years and will be again no doubt so I am very happy for this relief. Put a smile on your face....things could be worse.

That is not what they told us two weeks ago. They said the second round was going out on Wednesday. If you have direct deposit that should be fairly simple. We will see What happens in a few days.

I'm tired of hearing speculations not the facts and assurance for people depending on their checks. The IRS had no problem taking our money during tax time, but having problems when a small amount of refund is expected to be delivered.

I feel so sad for this lady, there at least two of my prescriptions that I am out of and I can’t get them filled currently. I just don’t have the money at the moment. They are for my osteoporosis that I have. Those prescriptions keep my bones from becoming even more brittle and breaking.in 2017, I was walking inside my apartment and for no reason fell, fracturing my left femur, two weeks before my son’s wedding. I got to go to, but in a wheelchair, spent 1 month in hospital, and 1 month in skilled nursing home. As a older American as most of us know, we deal with health issues the younger generation haven’t begun to deal with. May God Bless all of you, and may we all get the stimulus check. I receive SSI for my daughter which is my only income with 2 other kids and still haven't seen a dime. I see all the upper and middle class people getting theirs if you ask me the people relying on govt assistance should be first. I even went on the website and entered my kids info and even gave my routing number still haven't seen none on my bank account or my direct Express card. Govt doesn't care about us

I'm on social security disability and I received mine today April 29th. It was a direct deposit.

I think its messed up when the senior citizen's on social security a fixed income and live date by day or check by check and they end up being the last to get there payment! That's messed up if you ask me that's my opinion anyway!!!

The IRS has had updated direct deposit information from social security recipients since January in the form 1099 for those who don't have anything but a fixed benefit amount that the receive each month. That money isn't taxed and you don't file any kind of return unless you are working part time. Payouts to social security recipients, especially direct deposit, should have been the easiest and most efficient part of the program. I'm not saying they should have been first. But I am saying they should have been the easiest. And we were given so many different dates and so much misinformation that it's been very stressful. And it didn't really have to be.

The cola raise is a joke 2% raise when everthing goes up 10%

I keep seeing this again and again. There is never any information on why so many people on SS Retirement, didn't file taxes and no dependents STILL haven't received their direct deposits. We need to know what's happening.

The site tells us not to continue. That the child credit will be automatically added to our account. For SSI/ SSA/ RR... ETC.

I am a tax payer in this State and I was denied the stimulus check, because I was a dependent on my son income tax. For that i was disqualified, but he was still aloud to receive the stimulus check, that jus doesn’t make any sense to me. Especially inlight of stimulus checks being sent to people that are deceased. I just don’t understand. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income really could have used that money. They talked about helping helping the American people, and putting money in their pockets, well we know that was a lie, abuse they didn’t give it to everybody.

So I have a question I got Social Security every month on the 3rd how does this affect the stimulus money will it come on that same day with my Social Security payment but will it be different I usually call up on the 3rd to see if my money was put on my I have one of those Direct Express cards issued by B I guess social security and I really should never really put them. They put the name is but I was just wondering about it reading all these remarks will that go on the 3rd want to get myself security cuz that's what I used to pay bills I don't have employment and I appreciate if you could get an answer to me cuz it's getting towards the end of the blinds and then you'll see I start to prepare my bills and basically sell Securities all I live on I can't work right now usually that's about it I have almost I'm lucky 20 $25 after I pay my bills appreciate them a response as soon as possible so I know where I'm standing thank you very much

People that are affected because their work closed should get first. people getting SSI still get SSI no I didn't get a work check no I don't get SSI and no I did not complain

I feel everyone's pain, I was always told on Google, that as long as we have our SSA 1099 forms will get the stimulus check but that's the question I never get that. And they claim that they're going to distribute the check amount based on our SSA 1099 forms which makes no sense cuz they said that people on Social. Security do not get that

so basically we screwed and my non social security spouse is suffering because she married to me. if she were not, she would have her money. we paid our taxes on April 15 as good citizens thinking we would get our money. but were we wrong. next step. bankruptcy. i sure the hell wont be paying the banks after this while they are all sipping champagne getting 1 % loans while the rest of us pay 29.8%

Everybody I know who made enough to file a tax return has got there's already. Seems like SS/SSDI/SSI who don't make enough to file a return haven't gotten it yet.

I’ve tried for 2 weeks to get my correct current information to the IRS.gov website. My husband passed away at the end of ‘18. So, in ‘18 I filed as a surviving widow and we owed and I paid taxes for that year. In ‘19 I moved and have new address and banking info I wanted to change with the IRS. Every time, the website sends to my email address a code before continuing on their site. I’ve copied and pasted and I’ve put in the code manually and several times it says the code is not correct. The 2 times I did get the code to be accepted, the site would not recognize my phone number or credit card connected to my name that I’ve had for over 10 years. So, I cannot get my correct info to the IRS. They are not taking phone calls at this time.

I'm on SS and I got mine the first day. Because I take a small amount from my IRA and they withhold 10%, I receive that back each year. That's why I got mine because I had a bank account for my refund on file.

I did everything they said to do yet still havent got anything even filed tax back in match

I didn't think I Was ever going to get one, but when I called the bank on the 26th they told me it was pending and would be deposited on the 29th. I could never "get my check" to work.

Well this schedule did not work for me. I have direct deposit for my SS check and I filed income tax return last year (same address for 3 years) and last night I finally got info from IRS that it will be mailed May 1...we'll see...

My payment page won't let me put in my information and it says a check will be mailed to me on the 24th. It never gave me an opportunity to put in my information.

I figured that. Let it come on the first of the month like the checks do. It should come before then but this is what I assumed since no one on social security got theirs (as far as I know).

My brother gets SS and still has not got his yet, he has no dependents and hasn't filed a tax return for several years since becoming disabled. His SS is automatically deposited into a checking account.

Okay I am on a very slim social security widowed last year. I have put my information in and keep getting g the same answer. I put a wrong bank account number on my 2019 taxes. I am on SSDI. No way to fix my mistake so I had to wait for the paper check. Shocked to see the check in my mailbox April 23rd.

I’m on social security and I got my regular social security payment AND my stimulus check on April 15th the same day I’ve always been paid. I live from payment to payment each month like most of us. So before you start blaming the government you should check everything first. Believe me I’m no fan of this present administration but If I got paid then so did a lot of other people. Also I never in my life made $75,000.00 a year either. I was suspicious about it too but when I saw the payment in my account I was pleasantly surprised.

I am retired and get SS. However I cannot live totally on that so I do i outside Flea Markets in the Spring locally which are shut down because of COVID 19. I used this money to buy food for my farm animals, buy food, and pay bills. I do not file a return . There is no profit. Can i file for this loss? Also I use the market money to buy supplies for a large market in January. The rent and cost is at least $1500. I only end up with $600. profit but still a major loss living on SS. However, the reporter said all social security recipients should have already gotten their direct deposits by now. Hence, her inquiry was never answered. For Social Security, I entered my bank account for direct deposit last week on the irs webstie and I checked today and it said that I will get my money this Wednesday , May 6th.

We live in a very unjust world. We haven't got our stimulus either. It's always the rich first and us very last or if we're remembered. Very frustrating. Leadership has no understanding of hard times
