Hope you’re feeling better soon! I like your perspective on the free returns, I recently got an INAD over what I feel is buyers remorse. Everything they complained about was highlighted in photos and noted in condition and in description. I feared opening free returns up but I think you gave me something to consider and make the switch.

I know u said your poshmark is dead. I have the posh sidekick appand helps a ton. Sometimes i have more poshmark sales than ebay. It does cost 30 a month but its been worth it for me. It shares your items and sends out offers and shipping discount. I always add around $5 to each listing. Love watching you and you have helped me so much.

I am so jealous about you finding so much plush. I went to our bins, and they had none. I haven't been finding anything at yard sales either. (Except for bears...just say no to bears)

You hit my honey hole in Jacksonville! I told you earlier in comments the plush is good there!! I only go weekly. It wears me out digging thru those big plush totes and then all the toy totes. I’m a sweaty mess with all the aches and pains by the time I’m done there!! So glad you had success!!

So I have heard you say it before that you feel being a top rated plus is good for your sales and the profit you make. I get an email from eBay about twice a week telling me I need to move up to top rated plus and it will be the best thing I can do for my store. I am just leary of returns. I have had the liars so they can return items, and the ones who send me broken items back. I am trying to convince myself to do it. So I just wanted to say thanks because I just need that push. You had some great sales. I hope Robert’s mom is doing okay. Get well

The returns are annoying. I seldom have INADs though because they just return for "didn't like", "changed mind", etc. Getting 10% off your final value fees makes it worth doing.

I had a cookbook that took a tour of Puerto Rico in January. The customer never said a word. At first I thought maybe it went to a shipper in Florida and was sent there on purpose. Apparently it was just wandering around and about 3 weeks later it came back to Florida and was delivered.

I have had a lot of returns lately. I have been selling more clothes. The returns are womens clothes. I am deciding if i want to keep selling womens clothes or just sell mens.

Omg! I would say no, women’s returns are ridiculous! This is why I quit selling women’s clothes actually clothing period UNLESS it’s vintage kids clothes I do very well with those (never had a return). I focus on vintage toys and hard goods. Good luck! 😊

I am curious as to how much you save fvf discount versus paying for returns. I still don't think I can ship in one day, and pay for returns - just to get a 10% off my fvf - and make more. I think getting negative feedback removed used to be a good perk, but, now ebay doesn't do this, so there is that. SMH The $.30 and $.40 charges are not discounted, sadly.

Most categories on eBay have fvf of 13.25%. Last year I sold $124,000 which comes to about $16,000 in fvf, which means I saved about $1600 in fvf last year. I usually don't refund their original shipping costs and I get the item back, so I'm really only out the return shipping. If return shipping averages $10 per item and I have one return per week, then that comes out to about $500 I will pay for the year in return shipping. Offering free returns is well worth it for me. Everybody should look at their circumstances and make the best decision for their business because we all have different things to consider.
