I think they are weak on team offense. Great one on one with curry and Kd and such, but team, hmmm, I'm concerned. Most ppl don't think that Australia is swapping players checking reactions, not really playing to win, but prepare for when it counts.
You mean the 1992 Dream Team that played in an era BEFORE the 3 second and 5 second rules where back to the basket was the normal and teams shot 15 3s a game... Yeah they had bigger big guys but I'd argue that AD and Bam and KD give the team cray length that the Dream Team didn't have. Eras are insanely different man
@spookyyoutubes I agree with you, but I would argue that they were more than capable of playing this modern 3-point game with specific players on the court. You have to remember 60 year old Chris mullin played KD in a exhibition 3pt contest and beat him. It's fun speculating how they would play right now.
The OG dream team playing in this era would be more of a blow out and guarantee, they would cancel pros playing in Olympics. You can’t seem to be able to touch players. Lebron wouldn’t make it if played back in days.
You do know this isn't the NBA where the team with the higher points win, right? Score differential are important. You could still advance even if you lose a game just because of how much you outscored the other teams. Team USA winning close games is problematic. They should be winning by blowouts.
They won by 2 points against a collegiate team, 14 points vs Canada and 6 against Australia. That's bs for probably the most expensive team ever assembled. They've won by very thin margin having and have a full NBA roster. You must be a true Lebron fanboy, this USA team is not intimidating anybody, boy. They won't be winning against the Euro teams. 😂😂😂
Which collegiate team are you talking about? +10 in intl basketball is a strong finish and yes, they were sloppy against Australia but there is plenty time for them to improve and iron out their faults. As for not being able to play against European teams, you do understand that Australia and Canada stand toe to toe with the Europeans… right?
The Select team is full of NBA players there is one highschool/college player. Team Canada is also full of NBA players. The Dream Team also lost to the Select team in 92. Yall JorDickriders literally have rocks for brains 🤦♂️
Are you trolling? Everyone on team Aus is a pro and most are nba players. USA only won by 6 although you shouldn’t take too much stock in the box score for a warmup game.
I understand that you will root for your country (technical it isn't a country but whatever), but no one is scared of your team anymore. At this point in time there are teams that can easily put a fight and have good chances to win against USA. The African machine that has been producing great athletes for USA all these years is starting to malfunction.
