Long live the Empire

Very good and informative video. Lore like this makes me mad about the popular depiction of stormtroopers in Star Wars media. They are always portrayed as incompetent buffoons who constantly get outsmarted, easily killed or knocked out with a bonk to the head. And they even say ridiculous things in the chatter, as if the stormtroopers were meant to be some laughable losers. It annoys me because it would be so much more interesting if stormtroopers were taken seriously. The Empire is supposed to be an evil totalitarian system inspired by the N@zis, so the Imperial Stormtroopers should convey that. I like the idea of stormtroopers' chatter being constantly monitored and analyzed. This is exactly the kind of totalitarian control and oppression I would expect from the Empire! Stormtroopers should be depicted as competent elite soldiers who know what they are doing, they never show fear & they can kill their opponents with ease. And they should never engage in comedic chatter like these 2 goofy scout troopers in The Mandalorian. Stormtroopers should be scary faceless soldiers that represent the evil regime of the Empire. So far only 'Andor' managed to make the stormtroopers somewhat competent and respectable.
