It's actually 3rd best armour it's not even close to the other 2 SS and BR armours are wayyy above CE armour it's good for rank 50. To 200 past that you should of upgraded to SS or even BR
It's probably the one thing about the game that genuinely enrages me 😂 I feel like the meta-gear is so easy to get that there's no reason to try to get much else, as they don't offer anything unique enough to make them worthwhile unless you're going with restrictive roleplay rules like "can only use Raider gear and pipe guns." The commando guns are the best example of this: by the time you've unlocked enough of the assault rifle's mods to make it functional, the combat rifle is available, which makes the assault rifle obsolete, and by the time you've unlocked all ITS mods, you've got a Fixer, and if you've got a fixer, the combat rifle is obsolete. So annoying. I love using weird gear for builds, but not when they offer nothing other than a significant disadvantage. 😂
I wouldn't throw away a great set of legendary SS or BR armour but like I showed in the video from the looks of it the civil engineer armour is pretty similar in defense values.
@@SequentialGamerFallout I can see the engineer armour being one I'd roll for trouble-shooters and take it for Encryptid and for nuke launching... With the fireproof perk cards, I could see it making a difference, but other than that I don't actually think we do actually deal with enough endgame situations where energy weapons are common enough. I dunno, though. I'll give it a play around if I get the armour easily enough, otherwise I'll stick to my SS over-eaters set and t65 trouble-shooters set for those rare times when I need to tank robots.
