This. Charles is trying to compensate for a "slow" car and "bad" team. This leads him to overdrive the car and sometimes binning it. When Ferrari gives him a good car and good strategy he drives near perfect races, like Bahrain, Australia, and Austria last year.

Ugh, I dislike when people are trying to put all the blame on Ferrari. Yes they are not ideal, but Leclelrc himself has also been not great at all. When we look at actual champions like Lewis or Max - in their winning seasons they always near-ideal, maximum making one bad race during whole season. Even when we take Ferrari's best form - start of 2022 - Leclerc still was losing races due to his own deeds - like in Saudi Arabia or France. And these were races where Ferrari were either on the same pace or faster than RedBull. Leclerc is fast, not denying that, but he is too inconsistent. He either needs to fix that or hope that the car will be so dominant, that his inconsistencies would still allow him to become champion.

I feel it would be wrong to say that Fernando, Max and Hamilton also don't drive at 101% sometimes. Look at Max's quali in Monaco this season and tell me he was not driving over the limit. Fernando has been driving underperforming cars to places where they shouldn't be his whole career. Leclerc is an amazing driver, and Ferrari has let him down, but ultimately he still has some maturing to do.

Max did no mistakes on 2022 because the Redbull was always the faster car on sundays and he didn’t need to overpush. In 2021 Max made many mistakes and robbed Lewis the title because FIA decided to “support” redbull. That is the problem with this generation of f1 fans. They only watch the stats. Yeah, the car makes mistakes. While he is driving.and the pit lane still has the seb spin button, but just updated its software for a Charles crash.

It's both him and the car. It's just what happens when someone's not happy with the car and they try to push. That's what happened to Vettel to a greater extent, and it's what's happening to Charles. And of course, Ferrari's terrible strategy.
