In this video, we go over the tragic rise and fall of one of the world's most talented prospects, Paul Pogba. Twitter: / finalwhlstle A BRoll Media Production. / broll_media #Football #Soccer #paulpogba
He had 10 wonderful years are footballer. At least financially ... and a World Cup ! Injury always everyone enemies. There's nothing to sad about Pogba, really.
It Was Poga,Matuidi,Kante And Umtiti In The Defence That Made The Counter Attack Possible Passing The Hall To Griezman And Mbappe That Made That WC Team Very Effective.
Unfortunately his heightened opinion of himself always prevented him from being open enough to believe he needed to improve or get some consistency... The documentary he released on himself proved that. Pure self-indulgence. A sense of self gratification that was way beyond reality. Injuries didn't help, and he was always scapegoated far too much at United. But my god, what a player he could've been if he had the mentality and work ethic of a Ronaldo or a Haaland.
*Nope... Always said it... Way, way... WAY OVERRATED!!! Jose and SAF... Two of the greatest managers can't be wrong about him... He's poison... There's always been too much negativity surrounding him... Wouldn't have him in a Sunday League team*
The move to United was the wrong move for Pogba and United. I wish we had signed Kante the year we signed Pogba. The constant circus with Pogba was annoying, all United fans wanted to see was him hit the highs we all knew he was capable of. I will say however I don't think he was ever utilised correctly. He should have had a free role with someone anchoring off him like France did with Kante. At United he never had that, had we signed someone like Casemiro earlier we might have seen it. Either way the whole episode was a waste. You earned my sub! 👍
It is interesting to consider whether his doping was a last ditch attempt to get back into the sport, or (sadly, more likely) reflects a career long reliance on PEDs. I think the doping agency decided to pick on him because he is well known, but also on his way out of football - making him a safe target and a warning to others
Ferguson refused point blank to offer him a £30k pw contract at 18 rising to £75k pw after 3 years stating -"Son you're not good enough at the moment . I'll give you £10k pw and if you fulfill your 1st year then I'll raise it to £30k pw and we'll see what happens from there for the 2nd year" -Pogba left OT. Scholes said on tv - I've seen him start 4 times and come on as sub 3 times -so what's all the fuss about?".
Most players strive to be the best putting maximum efforts into everything, while others go through their careers creating ways to destroy their legacy.
Discipline. One thing which differentiates Messi / Ronaldo from rest of the bunch. Even on super high wages, both gave their 100% on pitch. Younger generation should learn from that. One thing missing in Mbappe imo and hence he wont make it big.
He asked for it for being an ass* when he was bought back to ManUtd by JM though Sir Alex sold him away during his younger days at Old Trafford back then had earlier noticed his ass* attitude wasn't fit to play for any team.
He had probably the worst attitude and mentality of a top level footballer I've ever seen. I don't know his private life so don't want to criticize him to heavily but can you imagined if he had KDB's elite mentality?
I don't agree with him been one of the biggest what if's in football. Pogba remains a great and will remain so. He might have made some mistakes. Mistakes don't define the man. I wish him the best if he chooses to still play football after the ban (I pray he would) and if he doesn't. He remains a great. ❤
Pogba was never a great, how the hell can you compare this guy to Scholes xavi iniesta alonso, keane, veira, etc he won a world cup with France, didnt carry them or anything, had about6 years at United scored 2 goals against City and done fuck all else, he cared more about his agent p social media status, haircuts and stupid walk than he did about putting in a consistent performance, kante absolutely carried him during the world Cup basically giving him a free role to chill out, mans the biggest sham in football
Every good player that goes to United after sir Alex era becomes a flop. So its a United curse not really players. Alexis Sanches, Lukaku, Di Maria. And now Sancho, Lingard are examples... Onana is on his way to the same outcome. Man United is the curse! A lot dont see that. Had Bellingham or Haaland gone to United they would have short lived their performance spree
Don't dare compare even the best Pogba to Paul Scholes!! Because of that you will have so many people turning off and not liking coz shows you no nothing about football!!
Players go to Manchester United simply for the money but have their careers destroyed in the process, just look at Sancho, Zaha just to name a couple...
It's karma. After pocketing an eye-watering transfer fee and enjoying one of the best salaries in the entire world from MU, he and his late manager is turned around to treat the club with contempt. The late manager's specialisation was to threaten that Pogba will leave on the eve of important CL fixtures thereby distabilising the team.
F*ckin Hell, 1 video and your channel seems to already have caught YT algorithm's attention. Superb quality mate, now you just need to keep them up. +1 subscriber. Video suggestion : Ricardo Quaresma's downfall. (He is also one of football's greatest "what ifs".) And/Or About how underrated Angel Di Maria is.
Yak, Yak, Yak. Paul Pogba is one of the few true footballing geniuses on planet Earth. If he's healthy, and if he's on your team, then you better play him, if you want to win. That's all that I know.
