I was there. A lurker on r/Historymemes. I witnessed the first shots and saw brave men attacking the enemy with hundreds of memes. But the enemy was strong and fired even as strong back to us. Both sides suffered so immensely under the attacks. Little have we noticed that between the fronts a little group has formed. They didn’t wanted to fight the people they are familiar with and have so much in common. Those people were the product of both subreddits. Together they got shelter on r/HistoryAnimemes. I was one of them. At the end we eventually realised what happend. Users from both subreddits came to the conclusion. They are not that different. One sides gets a boner on History the other on big anime tiddies. The sides didnt only settle their differences but they allied together to protect their new child, which emerged from this conflict. But its only a matter of time until until the next war comes up, but this time both will fight on the same side as allies.
