My youngest son lives in Chandler Arizona.. he's an avid hiker and has taken some really nice photos where he's hiked.. Arizona has some really beautiful scenery around the State...

OMG I watch EVERY vlog you have and I am from Phoenix, I would have loved to just say HI to you guys and given you some suggestions to make your trip even more spectacular than it sounds like it was. I was born and raised here, and as you can see from our population the rest of the world has also found us. You came at a PERFECT time, because our summer weather just broke about two weeks ago. You're correct about it being dry here, temps can get past 100 and it is still comfortable enough here. I love love love your channel, so sorry to have missed you.

The west is beautiful. I moved from Indiana to Northern California for about 5 years and I loved the fact there was no humidity, the mountains and ocean and the sunsets are so beautiful. Glad your enjoying your trip and your time with DJ and no kids.

I loved going thru PHX on our way to SF to see by uncle back in the late 70s. Stopped in the dressert and enjoyed the scenery. Also respected those sharp needles in everything lol. It's beautiful there!

Looking at DeJay here and looking at her today, she is much more relaxed. She is not as worried about whether you would come home from work each day. Teaching us to be mindful. That is where i am at. Arizona is beautiful. Lived there for about 4 months.

The first time I flew into Arizona from Oregon it was a shock!!From green & lush to dry and hot. Love Arizona.. Happy to see you both broadening your horizons. You should go up to Sedona Arizona. It is beautiful up there. Desert on the south side, and trees and rocky to the north. I would visit there when I was in the Phoenix area. I prefer the north side, it ends in a bluff over looking the canyon.

Would love to see DJs work, I'm an old photography freak lol. I used chemical cams, The Minolta was the thing back then. Jason with The Crockers suggested a good software defined camera for starting my page. Sounded like a great conference. IG is it lol. Glad y'all had a safe flight back home. My brother in law started out as a Chicago police forensics photographer now in retirement he does photography for some of the police organizations as well as videos for the fraternal order of police as part of the unions initiative for departmental clarity it makes for a nice little retirement gig!

Welcome to Arizona! > belated< We are in NW AZ. About 4 hours from phoenix. (For anyone visiting here) .. Make sure you drink a lot of water and pack extra water especially if you hike, even this time of year.! You DO sweat, but it evaporates! That's why many people who aren't aculamated to our climate find themselves feeling dizzy, headaches and even, in some cases heat exhaustion. Keep yourself hydrated and enjoy!

I live here in the valley of the sun..... AZ has so many beautiful sunsets. Fountain Hills is NE of Tempe and has the world 2nd largest fountain.. Incredible views

Arizona is an awesome place. I love southern Arizona in November. Pick you some oranges and go on some nice hikes. I love that place. Look for Gambel quail. They are everywhere.

We all need to intentionally make time for loved ones-it can be so hard in this “rat race” of life, but those memories u make, will be a lifetime treasure.
