Stay strong brother. In 2007 I had a brain tumor removed and woke up paralyzed on my left side and very slow speech. All my rehab was in a stroke ward, because of this. I was only 29 and with God's healing hand I fully recovered and have been cancer free ever since. You and your family are in my prayers. TGBTG!

My sister and mother have been begging me to see a doctor about high blood pressure for years. This is a good reminder that strokes can happen to anyone. My mother suffered 2 strokes in 2020, just like you, back to back in less than 8 hours. She spent 30 days unconscious in ICU, but never came back. You're here, you're alive, and you'll make full recovery.

Robert you are better. Period . My mother’s side of the family all had high blood pressure and she died of multiple stokes. Inherited her high blood pressure from her. I have come down with Afib which makes you susceptible to stokes. I underwent a new procedure called the Watchman procedure that puts a ballon in a pouch in your left atria where blood clots form. The body will wall off that pouch protecting you from blood clots and strokes. It’s been 7 months since the procedure and I don’t feel anything no pain. Everything feels good. You may want to ask your doctor about the Watchman procedure. Just a suggestion. Thanks Robert for being you. We happy people love watching your videos.

To you, Rob, and your family, TGBTG in your health and recovery. I too approximately thee weeks ago, took myself to the emergency room thinking I had a bad cold and finding out that it was pneumonia. The doctor there also didn't like my other blood results and had me medical air transported to another facility from Watford City, ND to Billings, MT. There I found out that my leukemia had returned after four years of being in remission. I pray you a speedy recovery and will keep your family in prayer as well.

Hey Robert. Take it easy and do it right. I'm 76 recovering from Lung cancer. Getting better every day. I can kayak again. I've also had several slight strokes. I'm praying for you and yours and for me too. I'm also eating fresh fish, crab, shrimp, oysters, etc. Fortunately I love it all. It looks like some sort of Stone fish or scorpion fish. Obviously lives on bottom, does a lot of hopping, big mouth and sharp, probably poisonous fins on top.

I agree it does look like this fish. I found some info about it.... The Eastern Red Scorpionfish is found in temperate waters of eastern Australia, ranging from southern Queensland to eastern Victoria. The species has never been found outside the Australian mainland (pers. comm. H. Motomura). The similar-looking Scorpaena cardinalis (previously known as S. cookii) occurs at Lord Howe Island (and New Zealand). Where did Austin launch that boat? This shows how small the world is in 2023. I had the same exact stroke at 23. Paralyzed on my right side and boy the words getting mixed up was frustrating as heck! It took a couple of years but no one can tell unless you knew me before. You got this Rob! You’ll be be better in no time ❤ Sending love and prayers

@@peacepipe6695 Nope! Just too many Redbulls according to my doctor. 😊 New mom and going to school, I over did it. It happens a lot more than people talk about. They’re actually tracking it now for a possible lawsuit

Glad you're on the road recovery. Take things easy for a while. I had a stroke in 2019 and with prayer and love from my friends and family I'm on the road to recovery. My left leg is still numb from the thigh down but I can talk, without slurring. I have full use of my left arm & hand. I still find it awkward walking up stairs as my left leg isn't back to full health, but over time it should be back to full strength. Stay strong, relax and take things easy. Rob, it warms my heart to see you in such good spirits! Your stroke was almost exactly a year after my father had a heart attack and I'm here to tell you that a year makes a huge difference! You look amazing already and in a year you'll be better than ever! We are all thankful for you and your family, and thankful that you are already doing so much better!

I’m not educated on the progression of strokes after they happen, but your speech hasn’t changed but just a bit! My grandma had several before I even got to meet her. Once I did, it was like seeing a whole different person than what my dad described from his childhood. I’m glad you’re recovering strong and are able to keep your same ol’ attitude Rob!

get better robert, i had a near death experience with an infected foot and after 4 years of fighting it it was time to lose my right foot and save my life i feel better most days, i get tired easy but i can still drive with my fake foot. im just glad to be alive. i have pictures of my foot to remind me why its gone now and i am glad
