I thought about that to and came to this grim conclusion. He shoved a big metal hose tip into his mouth. It probably forced his jaw open wider than it could go on the way in and shattered his teeth. It’s possible he couldn’t remove it. 🤮
Yes! Me too, when I saw it as a kid it was disturbing as hell and I felt awful for the man. But of course now as an adult I can finally understand the humor (...well, somewhat - death is just not ever funny to me.)
@@strangemarkings I just went and watched the clip to see what you were talking about. Figured it was License To Kill and I was right! Another example of why films from 1989-1991 are so strange... 🤔
@@julianmarlin6438 Yes! Scarred me for years seeing it in the theater, it seemed like the worst way to die. And I used to feel bad for all the families of the henchmen who died, thinking "they'll never get to see ____ again!"
@@strangemarkings That's what the Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997) "headless henchman" scene did to me when I saw it at 5 years old. Scarred me forever after I saw it, and I couldn't believe that Myers was twisted enough to write a deleted scene mourning the death with their family. Why is any of that supposed to be funny? 🤔
One of the funniest scenes 🤣 ever. visually, then the sound effects without seeing the aftermath. The explosion, her mild reaction. Then Leslie's comment. Perfect example of editing and timing.
David Byrne put this in the end credits of True Stories: “If you can think of it, it exists somewhere.” Going off that, if you can think of it, it’s a fetish for someone.
@@lastchips7638 sounds quite unpleasant I remember when I was a kid a kid I heard you should drink at least eight glasses of water a day so what did I do? Drink 8 glasses of water in one sitting My stomach was extremely bloated and painful and the next few minutes were spent hopping and praying I would burp or something Oh ab And I also had to pee several times I couldn't imagine how painful being force of fully inflated with water would be . And then I've heard another variation that said that they would smack the person's bloated bellyes with wooden planks Yeah not fun
Wiwwww, I remember this scene when I was like 5 years old. Never thought it was a Leslie comedy scene. For 20 years a always felt a little pity for the man. What a horrible way to die
@@H.K.5 Yes I assume this will happen first. Technically they will drown. But the water pressure from a fire hose is pretty high, thus eventually leading to ripped cheeks and to destruction of the mouth hole. If the hose is intubed further to the stomach, the water has nowhere to go. The body should explode at this point.
