@@Latebloomershow I believe Christians will be raptured before the beginning of the tribulation, we who are alive at the end of the church age will not see the Antichrist’s rise to power - Second Thessalonians 2. It is possible that we will see him on the world stage, (perhaps real soon) but we will not recognize him as the beast. He hasn’t made his move toward world domination yet. But, buddy, we sure are getting close. Keep your eye on Israel. When the armies of the north (of Israel) gather to take Israel’s spoils, time is short. I love to study eschatology! I know there are pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation, and post tribulation people. But from my Bible studies I am most definitely pre-tribulation. That doesn’t mean I’m not prepared to see what’s needed for difficult times. I’m stocked up and ready to help others and if I get raptured out of this world tomorrow, those who are left behind are sure going to need my stuff. They are welcome to it. 7 years of tribulation is a long time to suffer! If anyone can even make it through that long. If they do, then they have eternal damnation for siding with the evil one. Didn’t mean to start preaching! Stay close to your Bible. The scripture is truth. If we know God’s Word, and hold it close, we will not be deceived.

During WW II everything was in very scarce and many things were rationed...especially things like animal products...meat, cheese, butter, etc. But after the war they found that ALL the major killers...heart disease, high blood pressure and many other serious diseases almost disappeared, because these items were not being consumed at very high rates. I've been a vegetarian for over 40 years and after becoming one, I lost 50 pounds and have kept it off ever since. My blood pressure is always about 110 over 60 and I take no meds for anything. People do not need to eat all the meat, cheese and eggs that consume, plus junk foods. There is no need to can meats...so idiotic! Those are the things that keep doctors wealthy, and hospitals full, and even the undertaker in business! Meat is expensive, but medical costs are way worse! Give up all those things now! My friend's husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer. When he went in for the surgery, he was told the cancer had spread through his entire body and was even in his brain! They sent him home with no "treatment" and gave him 2 months to live...told him to just get his business in order, was not even given pain meds. They went home, and my friend said she was frantic, believing there HAD to be something she could do to save her husband. She spent days and days in the library, researching some for some answer. (This was before the internet,) Then she decided on a vegetarian diet, and they both went on it. Six months later, when her husband walked into his doctor's office, he almost fell out of his chair! Not only was his patient not dead, the tests he ran, showed he had zero cancer in his entire body! They published an entire page article about my friend's husband's wonderful recovery, in our local newspaper, and this doctor began sending all his patients to that couple for their help. (Most doctors would have had too much false pride to do that, but this doctor was very wise!) My friend and her husband gave free nutrition classes in their home, twice a week, for almost three years, until it became too overwhelming. But they helped dozens and dozens of people seeking knowledge and healing! Her husband lived for another 10 years, but she finally lost him when they were mountain climbing, and he fell to his death. Like my friend said, doctors do not KNOW how to create health...only know to treat symptoms, drug, cut, or burn! People are terrified of a nuclear fallout, yet will submit themselves and their innocent children to have their health destroyed by radiation, which destroys all life! And injected with chemicals, that cause all their hair to fall out, and they vomit 18 hours a day! And for every so-called "survivor" there are hundreds of dead, or maimed, people they won't tell you about! My friend's so-called "doctors" did him a huge favor when they refused to "treat" him! The average life for a person with cancer and doctor "treatment" is 2 years...and without their "treatment" it's 12 years! But with a natural, vegetarian diet... it's until a ripe old age! When you see people all maimed, or cannot speak, with their voice box burned away, on TV, that was NOT done by cancer... but by their so-called "treatment"! There is no excuse to submit yourself to those poison "doctors"... whose patients never recover because of their "treatments"... but in spite of them! Stand up for yourself, and your family and children! Do not allow the ignorant ones to control you with their fears! Farmers were tossing out billions of dollars worth of food in 2020, vs having canneries preserve it. Preppers would have bought that stuff out at lower prices if made available to them. edit: I hope small farmers will not pay the price for the sins of the agri-biz.

@@highonsmog Yes the farmers were told to dump massive food during lock down as they were unable to ship to restaurants that were mandated to shutdown and caused MASSIVE waste.

@@KD-rv5uo When restaurants shut down, the masses were willing to buy farm goods at discounted lower prices. Instead, every store raised prices, and farmers threw away their crop, vs preserving it, selling in bulk cheap, and making the preppers' day. Maybe the "system" is to blame, but I can't see how the distribution system and large companies thought throwing food away, vs preserving it, is the correct long-term thing to do. Not sure how the largest military in the world let them do it either. Not sure. Seems like someone wanted to control prices. I dunno.

I’m all for prepping and you have a suitable plan for yourself. However, before you judge others you should consider the fact that some people need their gas on for -40 degree winter nights. Without it their pipes will freeze, which stops all water flow! Some people also run home dialysis machines or cpap machines and would be seriously endangered without electricity. I’ve been camping numerous times and I get it, but as an RN I can say from experience that you have no right to criticize those who are forced to worry about utilities specifically because of the immense stupidity of the current ideocracy. We’re all in this together. Please have some compassion for your fellow man. 🙏🏻❤️

@@LetFreedomRingEternal I certainly don't judge anyone. Thankfully I don't have any health issues but I do have a generator and a battery and I know how to charge it with solar if the need arises. Prepping is about being prepared to meet you and your families basic needs.

I think potaoes would be better stored under some dry ground. It seems that pressure csnning high acid foods iis easier to do than low acid foods. Have you considered dehydrating the beans .you can eat them like that later on when rehydrated or turn them into a veggie powder in the whisker.

When it hits, we will not be allowed to sit in our homes with hoards of food. They will be coming for us. If you have to flee from your home how will you take it with you?

Feb 21 we had back to back ice storms stall over our area.. we were NOT given an accurate forecast till after the storm hit. My area went 14 days without power … 1 main reason it took so long was because our power coop ceo refused to work with certain line crews because he didn’t like them … also because our area is rural and developed slowly the power lines are kind of all over the place .. residents had to cut the trees off the roads after cutting ourselves out of our own driveways … I’ll be 50 this year and I was raised gardening, canning and being prepared … My area is also along hurricane alley so you get the picture 🤣😂🤣 I’m also an army veteran so I believe in being as self sufficient as possible .. it also gives me a different view point as to the news headlines you were reading .. your attempts to wake people are valid and appreciated.. the more people that prepare for themselves the less people that will be screaming and begging for someone to save them .. keep up the good work !

I live in an area that can get 7 feet of snow. I was trapped downtown one time and the city mayor was telling people just to leave there cars where they were and find a warm and safe place. The streets were like one large parking lot with cars just sitting in the middle of the road everywhere. I stayed in my van most of the night and stopped into a local shop who was staying open to give people aid. A nice police officer brought me a coffee while I sat waiting. In the morning my husband using a map helped me find alternative route home cause you were not allowed to drive on the roads I knew. I made it home safely and promptly went to sleep LOL. Another time we had an ice storm and a branch of the neighbor's tree fell into the roof of our garage and damaged our van. Our insurance covered it. Another ice storm broke so many branches we were not allowed to drive anywhere for a couple weeks and thousands were without electricity. Crews from other areas came in and cleared the debris and hauled it away while others worked on getting sections at a time restored. We were some of the last. We were prepared and the gentleman next door gave us access to a generator to keep our refrigerator & freezer going That was a real God send for sure. Buffalo is called the city of good neighbors for a reason. Neighbors clear our driveway from time to time, I guess because we are old folks now. It was hard for us especially my husband to be the one getting help instead of giving it. He has always mowed lawns and shoveled snow for others. What goes around comes around as the saying goes. And young men open doors for us. Where did the years go, and how did we get here. We are the old folks now I guess. We are both around 70 so I guess it is so.

@@chriskat646 last year (ice storms) I just used coolers on the porch so I didn’t have to use so much fuel to keep stuff cold .. it colder outside than my fridge is inside 🤣 and the freezer only has to run about 8 hours every 36-48 hours depending on how tightly packed it is (and you don’t open it of course)

@@zombiemom5088 Unfortunately, it was too warm for that. It was a freak storm in the spring. You could just stand at the door and hear the loud cracks of tree limbs breaking all around. A large limb came down right toward our back door where I was standing, but I had anointed my doors a couple weeks before and prayed the blood protection and it went a little sidewise and landed on the fence at the side of the house instead. I would have been badly harmed if it had fallen on me or maybe even killed. They had to bring chain saws to get it taken care of. I have never seen a storm this odd before or since. It was out of the ordinary for us.

Aw what a cute saying! That all sounds perfect. No way can I do that myself. We shall see if maybe I can get the Amish to come build me one. I just don't know that I can handle more responsibility as smart as it would be.

We cut in an automatic door that opens with a timer set at sunrise and closes by itself at dusk. The chickens love it and can get out before I’m up and go in by themselves in case we aren’t home to put them to bed. We love our chickens.

@karen do the chickens know when its time to go to bed? I'm assuming they have a natural biological clock to go in and come out right?

@@Renee-be9vl I have only done water bath canning until this year. My pressure canner just arrived. Can you pressure can cabbage rolls (which have rice in them)? Can you pressure can meat sauce with spaghetti noodles in quart jars? Please respond....as I could not find recipes for these. Then I read somewhere you cannot pressure can pasta and meat sauce.

I would like someone to walk me through thawing and pressure canning meat. Everyone says its so easy, but I don't want to make a mistake.

Riverside Homesteading has a good clip on water glassing. Farm eggs unwashed placed in a bucket, etc. With point down, water with correct solution of lime (which he will give you) preserves eggs quite a while. Blessings on your day.

Cuz we are not just facing a physical war against freedom and God, it will be increasingly more spiritual than anything. Anyone can learn prepping, sustainability, and preparedness, and I encourage it, but if people don't have God with where things are going and what's coming, it will be all for naught. P.s., I'm glad to see a fellow christian of the male counterpart near my age with the truth! Too many younger people have gone so totally astray and blinded by this world. But I do see more waking up. We are like warriors being prepared, and thank God for the older generation willing to teach us a thing or two with knowledge, but they're going to need us to be strong.

We are at the same level with canning! I don't have the animals, and would get them if I had a partner. I don't think I can manage this much, let alone animals even though I know they will be needed.

@@Latebloomershow thanks for the reply! It is a lot of work! I likely couldn't manage it all if I had a huge garden like you. The rest of my land is used for cattle grazing. The cows aren't mine, but I get to enjoy them and get an ag exemption for letting them graze. I do have enough space to make my garden about twice the size. Still small, but will be just right. @@Latebloomershow Yes, I mostly thawed whole chickens, cooked them one at a time in the Instant Pot, took the meat from the bones, packed the pint jars, put the hot broth over it about an inch from the top & processed the meat according to the manual that came with the canner. I'm in the mountains of southern WV, so I processed at 15 lbs pressure. (You might not have to use 15) I was worried the whole time...lol...but it worked, so after that, I did pinto beans, then a big pot of chili with ground beef. Haven't tasted the chili yet, but it is still sealed nicely and looks good, so I hope it will be alright. I've heard you can raw pack chicken and process it like that..🤷‍♀️ Idk...I'm a late bloomer too! 😅

Your fridge cant go that long...either empty it or....find the breaker its on and turn everythin but the fridge off. I lived like this for several years because of a malfunction on my well. I loved it. Slept like a rock. You can actually 'hear' when the electricity id off. The sound of silence

@@crystalwinter-powers5208 the idea is to use the emergency equipment to make sure everything works the way it should. I have a gas generator and a solar powered generator coming so we want to have an emergency trial run.

Yes I've mad myself tea from pine needles and danduins. It tastes great. In the winter I could make it just with the pine needles.

When I was a child my mother would have us stay away when she used her pressure canner preferably in another room. I have been very leary of using one ever since. It took me 6 months to use my instant pot. I am going to get a Presto canner I think and try it out now though. Even us old folks can learn new things.

Valerian officianalis. I was in the nursery business 25 years. Grows wild many places, easily transplanted, great fragrance flowers and none of the side effects found in the pill form.cats like it same as catnip. Roots stink like dirty socks. Catnip is also a great sleep aid for a sound sleep. Valerian will spread a bit by roots. Don't confuse with red flowering valerian. Officianalis has white flowers.

@@Latebloomershow You’re welcome! Chickens are super easy to take care of once you have a few things set up.

I canned meatball, meatloaf and sliders. I had to leave out some usual ingredients but they still taste great. I have also canned chicken and have canned beef that was purchased. I canned cubed potatoes, carrots, celery and onions. That way I just add either chicken or beef for stew. Yummy.

If you prepare as best as you can, and you have God in your heart, and stay connected to your neighbors, you won't have to have a bad feeling. We are going to go through rough times, but those of us who are prepared and connected will be fine. God bless!

My personal opinion is that the urge to be prepared is from the Lord. To get us to take action. If you are, then roll the rest over on Jesus as He told us to do and let go of the fear/anxiety over things you cannot control and leave it with Him. Fear not is said in the Bible often enough to be something we can rely on. Whether you are a believer or not ,keeping busy and doing what you can helps. So does prayer.
