I've dreamt of the moon being this close to earth. There were actually 4 huge moons in my dream. People were running in panic. It's a more common dream than I realized after researching it. We might actually see this in our lifetime.
@@Cisbetterthananyletters look at you talking about kids just look at your name my guy it has kid all over it not even my 65 year old granny would pick that name plz go to school and lern how to spell then watch RU-vid videos coz clearly you learning shit
Either the moon gains speed and orbits Earth very fast, or the moon and earth would crash. And the side of Earth when the moon is would have less gravity and everything would weigh less. You’ll stay on Earth, but you would feel a pull towards where the moon is. Solar and lunar eclipses would happen much more often.
the moon would disintegrate and form a ring before it could crash into the earth, dont forget about how stronger earths gravity is compared to the moon
@@JesterChat81 The ISS orbits at an altitude of between 370-460 km. The Roche limit for the moon is about 9500km. It would absolutely break apart and form a ring. At first, anyway. Then the small amount of atmosphere at that altitude would cause all those fragments to deorbit and hit the surface. Really not a good time.
The fact that Two celestial bodies of this magnitude getting anywhere near this proximity to one other, is fundamentally implausible. The only way for such a thing to occur would be from a massive cosmic catastrophe, such as a Huge Meteor or Comet Impacting the Moon and knocking it out of its orbit and sending it into a collision course with Earth. Just the gravitational pull alone from Earth and the Moon, would cause immeasurable Tsunamis and not to mention, completely strip away our Atmosphere and all life on Earth would be ripped away in the blink of an eye. This is what is known as an E.L.E (pronounced Ally) which means an Extinction Level Event 😢. At least it will be painless and a huge majority of people wouldn’t even know it happened. ❤
The craziest thing is that... even though we think of this as terrifying right now... IF for some reason it happened and didn't mess anything up (let's pretend that)... we'd just adjust our daily lives over time and get use to it.
Years later amd i had to come back to this ...why do i feel like this anybody feel like its gotten closer today or maybe ive just never seen a full moon shit scary asfc
I also had a dream like this. I remember looking out my window at night seeing the moon getting bigger and bigger and everything outside getting darker. And then I only heard a loud crashing noise and felt the most uncomfortable pressure I have ever felt while being asleep.
@@MrLunatic1369 I once saw a huge blue, pink, white/cloudy colored planet huge like that but just a quick glimpse and it was half faded into the sky like it was being cloaked by something and appeared just the split second and went away. I was totally sober and do not experience psychosis or anything of the likes. I've tried looking up in the past but i kept getting referred to "Planet-X" or "Nibiru" or possibly Andromeda. Did anyone else see this in the sky about roughly 2-3yrs ago?
There was one night where my friend called me over. He was also my neighbor. I went outside and I see the moon magnified by at least 20 times. It was orange and was amazing to look at
It would be terrifying to see but the truth is that,The moon has been drifting away from Earth towards the sun for 4.5 billion years. A stunning animation shows how far it has gone. The moon is moving away from Earth at a rate of 3.8 centimeters (1.5 inches) per year
If the moon was as close as the ISS, it would break apart and huge pieces would start falling on earth. More realistically if it were half the distance it currently is our tides would be significantly bigger, % closer is about the limit before the moon would start breaking up due to Earth's Roche limit, and it would be a gorgeous sight in the sky but also have terrifying effects on our planet.
I actually saw it. It wasn’t a dream. I was in a road-trip like any anyone would take. It was nighttime and all I did was look out the window.. there it was, an orange-redded super moon sitting at sunset, a giant circle covering atleast 1/4 of the whole sky. I remember turning to my parents and telling them so amazed.. but all they did was act as if it was normal. To this day, now that I’ve matured from age enough to understand the moon.. I’m still unsure wether it was real or a vision, or merely a vivid dream..
this happened to me too. I was 13 at the time walking through the woods in the middle of the night with friends. I remember looking up and thinking it was the end of the world, I was absolutely terrified, my friends were to at the time. It’s been 7 years since then, but they do not remember what I saw. I swear there’s no way it was a dream. I researched it and never found anything. I’m so happy this hasn’t only happened to me.
@@breannamarsilio7915 Wow. I'm also amazed I'm not the only one. Thank you for sharing your experience with me 😊. Seeing the moon so close.. felt so mesmerizing. I wish I could see it again someday..
